While I understand the point you are trying to make (and sympathise to an extent) ...and that is with 6 months of lockdown measures! Can you imagine how devastating the death-toll would have been (or could still be) if we all just carried on as normal?! Will it, though? The reason this is being treated differently to other viruses is that it is new. While there is more understanding of it now than there was 6 months ago, we still don’t even know if we become immune after we have contracted it. Nor do we know the extent of the long-term effects of the virus. Further research is required before we just let it run wild.

Log into Apple School Manager. Go to Settings > Enrollment Information > Terms and Conditions. 'View History' should confirm whether or not you have accepted the latest T&Cs. I'm not sure if you'll need to do anything else in Configurator, though.

I don't see that. It says, "Devices can be ordered for disadvantaged children in years 3 to 11" - i.e Key Stages 2, 3 & 4. Did you read it as age 3 to 11, perhaps? Again, I don't see that. The only catch-out I can see is if a child is self-isolating because of contact with a confirmed case outside school, in which case there has to be at least 14 others self-isolating, too. Other than that, if the school or even a single bubble is closed, then any disadvantaged children would be eligible. That's how I see it, anyway. But, like a certain famous droid, I have been known to make mistakes... from time to time.

This will be a major blow if they have to cancel again and/or refund tickets. I was supposed to be going to one on Sunday, but I'm not sure now. *1 hour concerts with no interval, reduced orchestra, maximum audience of 240 in a ~2000 seat venue, separate entrances, face coverings worn at all times.

This could go in one of three threads, but here will do. On Thursday, I got a phone call from a local number that I didn't recognise; I didn't answer it. When I did a search, it came up as a generic number used by the NHS for appointments, reviews, etc. There was no mention of test and trace in the reports, but I thought I'd better call it back anyway - just in case. Of course, the number didn't take incoming calls. "If it's important, they'll call back," I thought to myself. About 10 minutes ago, I received a text from... NHS Test & Trace. Uh, oh! The message read: My response? A mixture of relief and amusement as I scrolled through the text on my Doro 6620 flip phone!
