I'm finding it rather hard to not take this offensively, but okay: I don't use it to justify anything. It's just a tool to manage and track my spending and saving, calculate how much I need for x and can afford to spend and take from y to something else on a flexible month by month basis that also tells me on what day to expect a bill. I don't have problems with my money but I do have to sort out my savings more effectively, and PERSONALLY this helps me realise where I'm going wrong. I also got it for 7 quid so if one needed to you could just wait like most Steam consumers. A tool isn't a crutch.

It's more about convenience and multiple platforms and not just being incompetent with money. I've used a google spreadsheet in the past to update on my phone but sometimes you just want something you can enter quickly and not have to faff around with. The thing I use the most on it is scheduled transfers and payments. All automatic and calculated on an interval and don't need re-entering every month.

I'm not entirely sure but since I got it on sale I'm fine with transferring what I have to a backup and possibly grabbing it gain when at reduced. I might hazard a guess to say since it is on Steam it'd be updated through the same ID.

Hnnng, is anyone else use/is completely in love with this software? Aside from the fact that it keeps reminding me how skint I really am despite what's in my account... Stupid. There's so many tests that have entire dumps online and this is just punishing everyone to spite the few who may have used one. Surely they could've informed people beforehand and not have ruined their studies.

Dashcams are amazing. I don't think you'd ever find a motorcyclist who doesn't either have or want a GoPro/alternative, they should be promoted for motorists way more.

hahahahaha... Oh, you were serious. I think it was really little anyway considering I only get to do it for about forty minutes max each time, and most days I can't be bothered and want to eat my soup in the staff room or play dorf fort for my lunchtime. THAT BEING SAID... My kids are great. I'd feel like I was conning the school if I was being paid for it, because half the time I just use them for slave labour. "Put these cases on the iPads, install these, write me a newsletter! Hey can you guys check if this works? Okay now go play on the iPads, whatever." Back on track though, I've found that as long as you make it fun they don't care what they learn. I once had them playing Pitfall from https://archive.org/details/consolelivingroom while telling them about the history of home PCs and consoles. Ended up with one of the kids having an epiphany. "Temple Run TOTALLY ripped this game off!!" I haven't managed to wrangle a Pi or two yet (and I think it might be worth waiting for the rumoured new one), but it's probably one of the best ways you can teach them some early programming and introducing an OS other than Windows...

I run one, but I turned down the extra pay because the kids can be unreliable on coming and I can be unreliable on caring enough to do it, so it's hit and miss occassionally. I only do it with year 6 because those are the only ones I can bear to talk to for more than 10 minutes. I have a group of 5-6 girls who sometimes I teach about computers, networks, programming (scratch/bit of python), computer components, etc. Tomorrow I'm having them disassemble a computer and see if they can put it together and make it boot (I needed an excuse to throw it out anyway...) Year 4s I'd only really trust with software, but see how they handle Scratch and Pi stuff! Scratch especially, give them a rundown of what the different types of blocks do and a task like a simple game or an animation.

I refuse to use Comic Sans at work, nobody seems to have noticed yet. I usually use Calibri or Arial depending on how it looks for the document. Courier New for personal writing work, looks best (for me) on a script and using sans serif fonts is a nightmare for that.

I find the touchpad is usually the one thing I like about Macbooks, but only because it's so integrated with everything. Done badly it's awful. The worst trackpads I find are the tiny and rough ones that are just plain annoying and ticklish to use after a while. *cough* HP Minis!

Old chair - Broken back Old mouse - A netbook mouse because I didn't want to use a PC spare. It took me a while me realise I was feeling awful, tired and had pains in my back and wrist. I probably looked like Gollum. I ended up bringing it up a bunch of times until I got a nice new chair, and then bought a mouse that I know is comfortable for me to use. ... And saying all of that, I just caught myself hunched over.
