  1. I wouldn't use the stock launcher on either. Just grab the Google Now Launcher apk. Nexus simplicity, M8/S5 build quality. Better yet, chuck Cyanogenmod 11 on instead! I've got an S4 with Cyanogenmod - ability to replace the battery was a dealbreaker for me.
  2. That's what I've been doing myself @elsiegee40 I've ordered myself a new ergonomic keyboard and mouse, wrist rests, and am looking into monitor stands compatible with my screens.
  3. Thanks a lot for the replies, as I suspected. It always seemed to be that admin staff here are consulted over it but IT, the ones who use computer equipment arguably more than anyone else are left in the dark, and it sounds like we're not the only one's.
  4. I'm almost annoyed that they decided to boast about its gaming performance by citing that Flappy Bird runs well...
  5. Certainly an interesting merger. We've a local trading estate with a Carphone Warehouse, Currys and a PC World. Half this estate is going to be owned by the same company! However, I did wander around the currys the other week, it's like the technology store that time forgot!
  6. Morning! How seriously do you guys take the health and safety advice regarding sitting at a computer? I've been in this job for a number of years and have read all the advice and thought to myself (rather foolishly) "it'll never happen to me, I'm in my mid 20's!" However, earlier this week, the pain in the hand started, meaning it was difficult to grab the mouse, door handles, any weighty objects etc. A few days in a tube bandage and resting my mouse hand by using my weak hand for the mouse and phone etc (took some getting used to let me tell you!) and I'm pretty much back to normal, with a little discomfort in the wrist - but it's hit me like a ton of bricks that I should probably sort myself out if I don't want this sort of issue to become more common and the effects worse... I've ordered through the school a new keyboard (with better adjustment), a new sculpted mouse, and wrist rests for both keyboards and mice. What do you guys tend to do? Are your monitors at eye height? Is your chair and table suitable heights etc? How seriously do you take the posture advice? Cheers! Loosebolts
