You could use iExplorer on the Mac, it views and allows you to download the files like candy from a baby.

Yeah, even with a restore it will keep the setup, just try and do them on all devices, you should be fine then.

To date, AirWatch is the only MDM capable of supporting new iOS 7 features, as mentioned above, the new version of Profile Manager (Profile Manager 3) will be supported in OS X Mavericks. This is to include new features for supporting the new licensing model as parts of VPP have been removed/deprecated, new MDM iOS 7 commands like locking wallpaper change and better web UI. Apple has also changed the Apple ID Terms and Conditions to support under 13 year olds, as this was an issue in Education. So far, there has not been an update for Apple Configurator, but we are expecting one soon.

I think I understand what you are trying to say; With Paid Apps not originating from a Mac-secure source server, all the apps have to be authenticated, so if you put 10 codes it, you will have to type in your Apple ID password onto each device. If you use Mac Server with Profile Manager, it does it transparently.

I will be exploring all the documentation for the new MDM features, Ill let you know If i find anything about wireless apps! On a side note; Profile Manager received an update yesterday, not sure what it contains yet
