Hightower that is one gorgeous beast. I am on the lookout myself for a new dog. I lost my old girl in January and she was 16.5. What a loss that was. Have you tried Animal Crackers in Sunderland and Brysons over in Eighton Banks?

One of my users has an Acer Aspire. He needs to use it at home and does not have wireless there and bought a Vodafone K3570 Dongle. The Acer is Linux and we cannot get it to see the dongle. Has anyone any experience with Linux or dongles and set me in the right direction please.

I go to Texas regular as one of my sons lives there and I have to say the Mexican food is fabulous. I never used to like Mexican food before I went but the authentic stuff you get there is out of this world. The only thing I truly miss while there is a decent cup of tea...........

ButterflyMoon replied to creese's topic in General Chat
Well I don't know if they will read it or not but I sent my 2p worth anyway. If there is the slightest chance they do read it then I will have had my say! -

Pint a week is nowt compared to what mine was p1ssing out that day. The egg stemmed the flow enough to get to a garage outside where I was. The egg cooks in the water and bungs the holes a bit enough to do something more reliable. Your dad was right though suggesting it

Have never used that particular one but as we speak my car is running with radweld in my radiator as I sprung a huge leak not so long ago 20 miles from home. Stuck an egg in first to get me far enough to the nearest garage to buy Radweld. Will be going to the scrappie soon though to get another radiator. Oh aye and the winder mechanism for the drivers door window. Good job I love a good mooch round the scrappies!!

Two of my metal sons are gutted by this. Mind as a long suffering mother I had not heard of him. Sad all the same.

Have you tried some Reiki treatment also. It is great for pain relief. I find a lot of my clients report good results after a treatment. If you were nearer I would have given you a treatment. I have had acupuncture too and the relief in my back was brilliant.

Wise words Witch. My middle son lives in Texas and is always hankering to come home (he has a wee lad over there and and now divorced would not come without him) but as I keep telling him people move on. You may still be in their lives but they have their own lives too. I know this from moving away myself. When I go back I see friends but though we are still friendly there are less and less things in common anymore. It is a fact of life. A 10 minute journey home is not a lifetime away. I wish I was only 10 minutes from my son as I can only see him once a year. Be happy in your life cause at the end of the day we are only here once. As Witch says try and throw yourself into this for a period of time and see how you go. I wish you well with this as I know how hard it can be but I also know how liberating it can be too.
