Agree with Witch on this one local colleges are a good option to check out. Like her too I think your boss's behaviour regarding how you are referred to is disgraceful to say the least. We are all in the job to learn and make progress what you don't need is someone putting you down like that.
Go for if only for the interview experience. You may get there and find it is exactly what your looking for and they think you are who they want. It is a win win situation go enjoy the interview and see what they offer. Good luck it is all good
Lovely thought and brought a smile to my face. Was meant to be out hiking but knacked my back on Friday so spent the day watching Olympics and Rugby so wasn't all bad
Child Protection is a huge issue not just in this country. The OP obviously has enough concerns to justify having someone look into this child's welfare. That for me speaks volumes. Better speaking out and potentially saving a life or suffering. If the concerns are unfounded then no harm is done. On the otherhand a child will be saved. It is never as easy decision to make when being in this situation and unless you have walked in the OP's shoes you cannot judge. Obviously SOMETHING has made the OP concerned. Better safe than sorry I reckon.
Best one I had was a user password reset. The guy called and I got his password reset so tells him to put his password in twice then enter the new password. 5 phone calls later and my second line support going mental I traipse down the jail and get him to show me exactly what he was doing. He was typing in his old password then DELETING it and typing it in again!!!!!
