  1. No that will plug into your router, which will then plug into your core. The router should be supplied by the ISP
  2. Any Admin account can do it. Just replace the username when going into the containers section and use the correct password
  3. I'm building some apps and looking at using Dataverse to store the data, rather than spreadsheets. Does anyone else do this and if so, am I right in thinking that each users who uses the app will require a Power Apps Premium license? (roughly £90 per Staf per year?)
  4. Check event log as password syncs are noted there. The delta syncs do not do passwords so it will not show any changes. Look for eventID 656 and 657
  5. No targeting on the GPO to only target Win10?
  6. Upgrade TS will not show during PXE as an upgrade must be performed from within the OS.
  7. That is what I am thinking, and we do that in some of our schools already that have mixed classes. One for the Exec team to discuss I think
  8. Should be clearer. Mainly talking about Primary schools here so we do not have Subject/Department. These are the class Teams that Teachers use for planning but very little goes into the pupil sections. If you do not remove them, does SDS update with new members or do you have to do that manually
  9. Each year I get asked the same question - do we have to create new Teams? As the teachers then have to copy anything across from the Archived Teams/OneNote if they want to use the same material for the following year. Do others just create new and expect others to move the content?
  10. We have a iiyama 98” in our hall. It is a beast!
  11. What we do is assuming you have the Student entitlement from A3, then as we have so many licenses spare we allocate just the P1 element of the Student license to the A1 users.
  12. This is the script I use. It's been a while but I think you need to save it as a .bat file and place in the root of the d:\Users\ folder. (assuming this is your location). Then run the batch by double clicking. It will loop through each folder in \Staff and move all files from \Staff\Joe.Bloggs to \Joe.Bloggs\Documents If Staff is not your folder name, then change it in the brackets "for /d %%Y in (Staff)". You can use "for /d %%Y in (Intake???)" for wildcards if easier. I always called it per exact folder name so I know what it was hitting.
  13. I have a script that will move all files into a subfolder called Documents, then you just change the AD element afterwards. May need running over night or holidays when people aren’t using documents. I’ll dig it out
  14. Identical here but we actually use Yeastar rather than 3CX. 300 extensions, Gamma trunks. Just works
  15. You can move to 24 without changing licensing model.
  16. Disabled all the VLANs? Or just the port that the uplinked to the core switch?
  17. Ok that’s correct then. Sounds more like a Smoothwall issue. The switches only need UDP/7351 open to communicate with the dashboard
  18. Are the switches on the same VLAN as the WAN?
  19. Taking a while to post any…..are you shifting through all the bad ones first?
  20. Physically pull the cable out of the main line, see if you still work
  21. We use https://pc4recycling.co.uk/service/yearly-contract/ and pay for unlimited collections
  22. Is anyone using Smart Lumio and can confirm it will license SMART Notebook features? That is the impression their websites give, but the £45 cost is far off the price Notebook used to be when licensing on non-SMART hardware
  23. Even if you get invoiced, just don’t pay it and ask to be downgraded. They then send a credit note. Wasting their own time really
  24. Turns out that turning SIP on in the Advance settings worked for me. Thanks you for the suggestion to look there!
