    Im looking to move our off our old Exchange 2007 box to office 365 and am wanting someone to do the migration for me. Does anyone have any recommendations of companies that can do it that wont break the bank?

    Any of may spare time is taken up with the family (3 kids) or out on the bike. Currently do around 80 miles a week now the weathers nice and have a few sportives coming up

    I paid £380 for veeam backup essentials standard 2 socket bundle. It doesn't matter how many 'used' sockets you have though its how many are in the server itself. (I believe)

    Did you get anywhere with this yet? Im moving all our staff to a new file server and will most likely ditch offline files for work folders at the same time but obviously need to migrate the data rather than starting fresh

    Yeh we do use HAP and are looking into O365 at the minute but we do have quite a lot of staff that don't have Internet access!

    I need to move our staff files from a very old 2003 storage server to a new 2012R2 Virtual Server. The server is already setup and serving files for our shared areas but id like a bit more information before moving the staff files and more specifically offline files. in GP staff have a policy to sync the H:\ drive. So if the file server name changes but the files in the H:\ drive are still the same will sync continue as normal ?

    hmmm version 4.2.14 and its not working for me . .? I seem to be in a very limited mode where i cant do anything!!!! EDIT: Sorted it. All the console access right had vanished.

    OP check out unifi, ruckus, meru etc Check out the prices, evaluate your needs and then make a decision and buy a solution People are just going to argue tit for tat as to what systems best. It's just another Mac vs PC

    Yeh mine are virtualised too but last year had a massive issue that took us and dell about 2 months to solve and at that point they recommended we separated the database and the broker role into different servers On the database server we installed the broker just incase the main broker died we'd still be able to administer the solution

    Thanks I may take you up on that our hosts are 2012r2 as they had to be rebuilt last year but I think both brokers are still 2008r2 Plenty of scope to take them to 2012 r2 though

    Sounds interesting. I'll defiantly need to look into it further as login times are a pain here I'd also like to get the web gateway working to allow the VDI over the web We are still on version 8 at the minute as the thought of moving to 8.5 and breaking everything is quite daunting

    I'd be interested how you get logins down to 5 seconds I have a vworkspace solution 2 hosts, 1tb of ssds and 128gb ram in each host. 2 brokers also We have s golden image and desktops take less than 3 minutes to provision but logging on to one of those desktops can take 30 seconds on a wired client and up to a minute on a wireless laptop

    I have 2 x 15TB synologys One is the main backup the other is a replica of the first the other side of the building

    This.. I replaced an old ruckus network in my high school with Unifi and its been fantastic. Very set and forget and massively cheaper that other others that are around.

    Im trying to add another group for 6th form students but when I do the whole layout gets messed up and displays all the links on one page rather than in tabs. If if I remove the extra tab then it returns to normal. This is the same no matter who logs on (student, teacher or admin) Any ideas?
