I think thats an 8 bit panel apparently you want 10 bit or 8 bit + FRC minimum for an HDR picture see https://hdguru.com/whats-a-10-bit-tv-and-is-it-better/ its not listed on Display Specifications but here is the closest one to it https://www.displayspecifications.com/en/model/075fee2 The MU7000 series is the one that is being recommended on my Facebook group https://www.displayspecifications.com/en/model/c82db05 (49" model) - also notice the brightness measurement on this one compared to the earlier mentioned LG

https://www.displayspecifications.com/en/model/8c9ab57 LG TV's have been discussed at length on an Xbox Facebook group I'm a member of and the picture on LG apparently isn't as bright as TV's from their competitors but you cant argue about the price. Also its a bit more at £369 but you get a six year warranty with it from https://www.richersounds.com/lg-43-inch-4k-ultra-hd-hdr-smart-led-tv-freeview-play.html

Been looking at smart TV's recently as part of my plans to upgrade to the Xbox One X this site is quite handy if you want technical specs. Samsung TV's have some of the better input lags which apparently is important if you plan to use it for gaming. https://www.displayspecifications.com/en

There is a way because we have prevented it, but I don't know how. Not much use I know but at least you now know it can be done.

In one of my layouts I have a region set to display the schools twitter feed via the embedded addin. This displays fine on the Win 7 based Xibo displays I have running but wont display on a Win 10 home Intel Compute stick I'm trying to use. All its shows is the tweets by.. link I did previously experience this problem on the Win 7 based displays and determined it was possibly due to a missing update as fully updating Windows appeared to fix it. However the Compute stick claims it is up to date and it has up to date Flash and Java. Win 7 machines and Compute stick are using the same proxy so I don't believe it is proxy related. any ideas?

Freedom of Information request
JJonas replied to Jobos's topic in Data Protection & Information Handling
I was curious about who sent your foi request so... Whois lookup on the domain gave me a registrants name Google search on name + foi led to numerous foi requests and the name of a charity supporting divorced fathers that led me to the groups Facebook page and ultimately to what I believe to be the registrants personal Facebook #thatwasfun #notastalker #honest -

I used a bit of software called user logger, might be this one users.iconz.co.nz/trout/usrlog.htm note: because of what it does this might trigger your antivirus Then set up a PC to show the feed from one of our security cameras and got user logger to grab a screen shot every 15 minutes.

Taking Photos with School Supplied Camera
JJonas replied to jhector's topic in Data Protection & Information Handling
What about wireless sd cards that can send the pictures to a phone? The phone could be password protected. Would this work? Has anyone used these? do you need a wireless network to communicate through or can they send the data straight to the phone? -edit- looks like it might https://www.cnet.com/uk/how-to/transfer-photos-from-a-camera-to-your-phone/ -

If it takes five machines five minutes to make five widgets, how long would it take 100 machines to make 100 widgets? 3. In a lake, there is a patch of lily pads. Every day, the patch doubles in size. If it takes 48 days for the patch to cover the entire lake, how long would it take for the patch to cover half of the lake? So everybody gets to partake in the fun PM me your answers

Play this probably twice a month with a couple of friends https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alternity Used to play AD&D, Call of Cthulhu, Star Wars, Star Frontiers, Toon, Paranoia etc back in my youth. Would like to get back to playing Call of Cthulhu thats the only one I really miss playing. Just bought the Mansions of Madness second edition board game to help scratch that itch. Is good it uses an app to DM the game

I've upgraded an iPad that was already configured with Meraki and all appears to be ok. My restrictions still appear to work(prevent removal of apps) Did you upgrade an iPad then try installing Meraki or did it already have Meraki on it before you upgraded?
