    How are you enrolling your devices? I managed to get iPads hooked up with Meraki via Apple Config 2.

    Has anyone had this issue? I'm trying to bring some laptops back to life and although installing CloudReady works perfectly, some models of laptops end up with the trackpad disabled. My mind is exploding with trying to fix it.

    Normally for all subject iPads I go through restrictions and then show/hide apps. Here is brilliant for removing the calendar and the clock and all the pointless apps students try and tamper with. (we once had a department who had over 20 iPad alarms go off at once. That was insane O_o) Once I removed the weather app from the 'do not allow the following apps' list the iPad restrictions kicked back into place. Really strange. I've spoken to another tech who has had the same issue. I just hope this thread helps anyone else who uses Meraki and finds the IOS11 update an issue.

But this is what happens when the update is applied to bring an iPad to IOS11.

    It's the strangest thing. Nothing applies to them. Apple ID's can be removed, passwords can be set, all restricted apps appear but the link to Meraki is still there. I've raised a support call with them and flagged it as urgent. I've also noticed there aren't any options to lock down the new file storage app to icloud.

    I don't usually update so fast but I found this purely by accident this morning. It'd just shocked me that Meraki haven't even got restrictions in place ready for all of this. I think the schools here would go mental if all of them had to enroll via itunes lol.

    You've probably sorted this issue long ago but sharing and is caring and all that. I have over 500 iPads at the schools I work out. I have one main school that uses AC2 and the others are all on Apple DEP. I use Meraki to look after all of them. If I push or deploy apps they are stuck on waiting at the moment. If I connect them to another wifi outside of the school network they work fine. I've been on the phone to the ISP and apparently some schools have trouble depending on their ISP. In my case our ISP is rubbish and doesn't seem to connect to Apple's app store. Did you find out what was wrong with your iPads in the end?

    With PaperCut, is it possible to control which iPads can print to what printers? I work in a school and wondered if it was possible from stopping students print to a printer in a different department? Also when an iPad prints it tend to come out full page A4. Does anyone know if this can be changed?

    Thanks Mark, it's brilliant to get feedback from others who are doing or have done this in education. So far teachers are wanting to share their folders and everything they have from their old email address to their new one. I suppose this is one option but once their old email address expires they won't have access to their files anymore. If I could migrate drives easily I think it would save a lot of work. A few people have said to force the teachers to download and re-upload everything in order to get them to house keep their files.

    Hi Guys, I know this thread is pretty old but I'm apparently way behind in life and am now moving from a GMail service to Google Apps for Education. The migration tool Google Admin give you is fantastic at moving all emails from one account to another, however I can't seem to migrate Google Drive or Team Drives? Has anyone been successful with this? I work in an educational environment so hoping there might be other IT Techs out there who can help.
