Apparently you set your friends console as your home console and they set yours as their home console. Then when you want to buy a game you get your friend do it on their console using your ID and you should then both have the game. Obviously you have to do this with a really trustworthy friend. - That is how it was explained to me, no idea if it works as I only have one console.

Safety first, you probably shouldn't be making changes to the default domain policy at all. If you get it badly wrong you can lock yourself out of the domain completely

It only came out today so I don't know if there is a trial the moment. As for fiddly gamepad controls all of the reports I've seen so far of people playing it say they did a really good job of mapping the controls to the gamepad.
