The Beekeeper (Cinema) NSFW trailer - violence and swearing When his landlady commits suicide after falling victim to a "virus alert" scam, beekeeper Adam Clay decides to work his way up the food chain to destroy the operation. As he was also a Beekeeper, one of an elite off-the-books force that is tasked with "protecting the hive", this means that the bad guys don't stand much of a chance. Starring Jason Statham and a bunch of Brits essaying American accents with various degrees of success along with Emmy Raver-Lampman from "The Umbrella Academy", who deserves an Oscar for keeping a straight face when telling JS's character that she "detects a trace of a British accent" in his voice, and Josh Hutcherson. It's a fun action flick that is receiving some surprisingly decent reviews. We enjoyed it (nice to see Jemma Redgrave promoted fro head of UNIT to President of the USA) but I'd say wait for it to be shown on Sky, who appear to have the UK rights.

It doesn't have a "no iap, everything unlocked" version that @DGardiner has seen with EDU type apps.

AFAICT PhotoDirector doesn't have an EDU version. The AppStore is blocked already, thankfully!

Sorry, probably not using the correct "Applespeak". All pads are set up as shared devices in an MDM and don't require signing into (so presumably use the same account somewhere down the line). Elsewhere today, so can't check what they say.

At one site dozens of iPads are deployed as shared devices, all logging into the same account. (Long story). At present all apps are freebies but a "paid" in-app subscription is now being mooted with the teacher reasoning that "one logon, so just pay once". I'm none too convinced that this is allowed. Any thoughts/advice?

Due to having started it with 3 of us watching and then never having the opportunity to finish as a group until this weekend, only just finished 1899. This started well, but devolved into a lot of crawling/climbing through passages and I'm not sure that the "explanation" made sense. Had it not been cancelled I probably would have stuck it through another season, but I think I would have been on my own for that!

"Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice" currently <£3 on Steam. Buy it and probably never get around to playing it as I hardly ever use the PC for gaming, or wait for the price to drop on PlayStation (was £7 a couple of years back) with a slight chance of playing it?

The Princess Bride (ITVX) Saw this on release and wasn't impressed at the time. I didn't like the humour, felt it looked cheap, and wasn't impressed by the cast. I appreciated it a bit more this time, but still didn't love it.

1 have 3x22" monitors at my main sites and 2x22" due to lack of space and my "only a few hours" one. I'd go to 24" if I had 'em. Each extra monitor shows that I am working extra hard .

It's one of those "when I'm waiting for something to load/restart" things for me.

Re: "Saltburn". Just seen someone on YouTube complaining about a "Saltburn" mug that she'd bought because it looked "cute" coming with a "sick" plug hole. Erm... you thought merchandise for the film would be "cute"?

Not done it but it looks like you should be able to add a new admin and then edit them to make them Primary Leader.

Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom (Cinema) After his father's death, (Black) Manta swears revenge against the man who is apparently now to be know as Aahquaman and starts searching for Atlantean tech to fix his suit. He finds a trident that gives him incredible powers, but there is a price to be paid for it is tied to an ancient being who also wants to see Atlantis destroyed. I enjoyed this more than I expected, but I had very low expectations. There is actually some nice production design, but a lot of the action takes place in blurry CGI. Amber Heard's role is virtually non-existent (for some reason...) to the extent that they might as well have killed Mera off-screen. Not sure how this fits in with the end of "The Flash" either. Adieu, DCEU.

Utterly Dark and the Tides of Time by Philip Reeve Utterly keeps the promise she made to her mother and returns to the sea, but soon finds herself in an even stranger place... the 1970s. Reeve seems to ramp up the scariness in this one, and one sequence where Utterly learns that she needs to think carefully before making a wish is pretty bleak. A fun, but not essential, read.

Up to 48 using Google/putting in "likely" titles. Only one film that I haven't heard off, but I don't think I'd have got more than a couple of the extras just by thinking hard.
