Evidence: Jane Badler aged 30 in "V" - 1983 Jane Badler aged 69 in Parralox's promo video for "Tears of Faith" - 2023 (Skip to around the 2 minute mark unless you're enjoying the tune).

Ouch! Hope you find something affordable.

https://www.denofgeek.com/tv/neuromancer-tv-series-the-matrix-william-gibson/ As the article suggests, could it fall foul of the "John Carter" syndrome where an older work has been much used as inspiration and so an adaptation is seen as "unoriginal"? Mind you, it's on Apple TV+ so it probably won't catch the public's eye.

[tv show] Robert R McCammon's Swan Song to be made into a series
LeMarchand replied to Dos_Box's topic in TV & Movies
Looks like RRMcM will be topping up his pension with more royalty cheques as "Teacup", based (loosely?) on "Stinger", has started to announce casting and was due to start filming at the end of Feb: https://www.robertmccammon.com/category/stinger/ -
Sure does! Here's what I use: /forums/how-do-you-do/232140-logging-student-pc-use.html#post1989783 Other answers in that thread, or the one linked to in that post may be more to your taste.

Not as detailed as you appear to need, but we have scripts that save logon/logoff events to a csv. Doesn't seem to be 100% accurate, but gives a very good idea. If you don't get something better, I can post.

Chris Gauthier, probably best known as Bosun Smee in "Once Upon a Time" but a regular "character" face on US TV has died. He was only 48 . https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-beds-bucks-herts-68400411

Just call me Mr Cheap! Never had a problem with any coin cell cheapos I've bought from Amazon or eBay. I don't always get the cheapest by unit price as I don't get through them that quickly, so it can be a false economy having 9 out of 10 slowly exceeding their use-by date in the battery box. Tend to get two to four at a time unless I know that more are needed. Also buy the Kodak alkaline AA/AAA/9v ones from the store that should really change its name from Poundland.

Suggest places to replace/install servers
LeMarchand replied to browolf's topic in Windows Server 2022
@ICTDirect_Dave usually has some good 'uns if you don't mind refurbs. -
LIKE THE SHOW, TRAILER NSFW. Presumably on Disney again, though maybe ITVX have the rights as they're showing S1 now.
-
One of the ones Disney dropped, now picked up by Roku. Who knows who has the UK rights. I read the first lot of books and saw the movie some time ago. Apart from the stone, this doesn't look very familiar.

My sites were earlier adopters of Arbor, before SIMS realised that the only way to keep customers was by making it difficult for them to leave. We always had System Admin Access, though. Maybe worth checking your SLA with the LA team as there may be a clause there that says they have to give you access? Our LA team were all doom and gloom about the migrations claiming we'd be back and would have lost out on all sorts of discounts and data functions. Now they offer Arbor support...

Cheaper on electricity too.

VM. Can't see any positives to it being physical box.

Crashing Eid (Netflix) A Saudi divorcee proposes to her British Pakistani boyfriend just before heading home for Eid. When he decides to surprise her he discovers that he is the wrong sort of Muslim and that his family feels the same about her. Amiable enough but would have worked better as a movie with fewer subplots. If the trailer piques your interest, you may enjoy it.

Trailer trailer followed by full trailer.

Tried Lightspeed and didn't like it. Currently on Mosyle free with 60 iPads, but will push the school to pay if the rumours of more pads are true as bulk operations are very limited.
-
Trailer for the trailer up, trailer due later today.

New trailer is pretty light on details, but strong on imagery.

[tv trailer] Avatar: The Last Airbender (Netflix)

Forgot to post this one: and this one is the final one before it starts: -
That's annoying as I found a few of ours had had this enabled for some reason.

Perhaps I was hoping for too much, but these were very slight and not really worth the wait. I also saw most of the first ever ep of "real" Thunderbirds, which stood up surprisingly well. ITVX seems to have a lot of Gerry Anderson's shows though I suspect that some might be better off as fond memories.

I must have been lucky! Mine was pointing at the O2 sensor as the problem. Petrol car, though - maybe it made a difference.
