I've just finished following the following guide to install Snipe-IT on Ubuntu Server 16.04.3: https://www.vultr.com/docs/how-to-install-snipe-it-on-ubuntu-16-10 And I now have my first issue in the fact the website isn't loading! Instead of Snipe-IT, I'm getting this: What have I done wrong/missed and how can I fix it so Snipe-IT loads? [EDIT] Just tried it again and now it's displaying the Apache2 Ubuntu Default Page instead of all that gibberish!

We spent SIX MONTHS contacting Virgin Media trying to get them to quote for broadband but no one ever got back to us! We constantly phoned and emailed both generic people and a named person but to no avail, they didnt want our money. We ended up going with EXA and you'll never guess who they used for the leased line?! VM!!

Just tested it again and it works now!

This is what I get when I go to that URL:

No idea I'm afraid! We've not got any login details yet (as far as I know anyway).

We're on the Surfprotect Quantum system and can get to that URL OK and the IP comes back as 82.219.4.38.

We go one step further - our Maths department tweets a photo (along with the name) of a student demonstrating good work so not on the wall, but on the internet if that counts?!

When you install Windows 10, delete all the partitions on the hard disk during the installation and then let Windows 10 set up the partitions it wants to.

What did Apple say when you reported the fault?

Try logging in as a different user and then run Windows Updates again. If it still doesnt work can you upload a screenshot of the error?

Do you need to reboot after the JDK has installed? Try adding a restart in to your TS to see.

If you can, get one from your ISP. If you can't make sure your ISP is familiar with SIP lines and how to configure your firewall to allow them to work properly.

We put them in with our normal WEEE waste (toners, desktops, laptops, switches, fridges, freezers, kettles, motherboards, laptop batteries, UPS batteries, projector lamps and pretty much anything else with a plug on). We get a free collection when the large 'bin' we have is full.

Sounds like a communications issue so try a different driver. If you're using a PCL6 driver for example, try using a PCL5 driver if they have one available on HPs website.

When SCCM does silly things like this to me I give it 24hrs (so the overnight processes run etc.) and then try again in the morning so my advice would to not make any more changes and try again tomorrow.

When I replaced my optical drive in my MacBook with a caddy with a HDD in it I gave up trying to transfer everything across like that and just reinstalled the OS on to the new HDD instead as it was quicker to reinstall everything than to get my head around moving it all at the command line.

If you add it as a custom field, what information would you put in it and would there be some way of reporting on it so you could see what was due and when?

SpiceWorks only uses SNMP. The access points are managed centrally which means I cannot connect to them via an Internet browser as you get a "this site can't be reached" message which is correct as when they are centrally managed it disables local access to the APs. If I get a new AP of a box that isnt centrally managed and connect to it via a web browser it has SNMP settings for the AP. On the ZoneDirector 1200 I can only find one setting for SNMP and when I edit the settings of individual APs SNMP is not listed.

Perfect timing as we've a member of staff getting headaches in front of her computer - this is a much easier way of turning down the brightness - just choose black as the colour (not color) and adjust the opacity to suit! Lovely Jubbly

You've not missed anything! Same old things really, nothing much new or innovative.

I've configured our ZoneDirector 1200 with our SNMP settings and have added that to SpiceWorks Network Monitor OK. What I cant do however, is find a way of configuring SNMP on individual access points. I cant browse to an AP via its IP address as we're using ZD to configure them and I cant see any SNMP settings for the actual APs - am I looking in the wrong place or is it not possible to do what I want to do?

It's OK, I've worked it out - user error (arent most things)! I used https://macvendors.com/ to find out the vendor and they tend to only make NICs for servers and I was adamant that we had no servers outside of the server room. That is apart from our Secondary SCDPM server and that's what it was!!!
