Do you have software assurance with your EES? AFAIK Its the software assurance that allows you to continually upgrade to the newest version of the OS etc

You can disable Safari in Apple Config, then they would have to use the Impero Browser to use the web, providing you disable installing apps...

Also, this should be classes as a security risk, not installing security fixes is a serious issue, and I would be tempted to disable Comp & User Accounts for machines that aren't at least updated once a month. See how much time they have then "If you never TAKE time, how can you ever HAVE time" - merovingian
-
Could you not remotely reboot them over the weekend (or over night), when not in use. Inform them that this is going to happen and any data they lose from not logging off etc is their fault ###EDIT### Can still schedule a reboot, just needs to be a local Scheduled Task

EDIT, Sorry re-read your post I would try changing replace to update (or create) on the printers, you have already removed them all, I believe with replace, even if the same user is using the same PC it will try remove the printer (even if not installed) and re-add it, hense the hang. Alternatively, could you not add the printers to specific PC OU's, so there aren't as many printers to look through to check if it should be added?

We had that when we enforced our lockout and complexity policy, turn out to be a few teachers had joined their phones to the Wireless via RADIUS and forgot, phone was attempting to authenticate every few minutes, failing due to a password change and trying again when it woke up.

You have to assign the new drive to the existing array, or its just another separate drive. Have a mooch around in the HP Array Config Utility (maybe under show or wizzards), see if there is somewhere to add the drive to the existing array, then it should show up as unallocated space at the end of disk0 in Disk Management under windows
-
Are you sure it is assigned to the RAID 5 Array, otherwise windows will see it as a separate drive and you wont be able to expand into it

@KK20 I may be giving this a try in the not to distant future TYVM

@KK20 Do you run concurrent jobs on VM's? I would be very keep to look into this SW if you could (for example) run a back up of a set Hyper-V VMs to a NAS and HDD's simultaneously. I currently use BA, and the fact you cannot run two jobs (even different source/destinations) at the same time.

Office 365, Pro Plus, OneDrive and Data Protection
smithson83 replied to saintoctopus's topic in Cloud Services
there is a setting within office 2013 to remove save to onedrive (Im sure then that this could be done via GP), also under the admin section of the Office365 tenant > Service Settings > User software > Software for PC, there is a customise link that you may be able to remove this option from the home installable option too (although I haven't tried it) ***EDIT*** Ignore the bit about O365, not what I thought it was, my appologoes- 6 replies
