You can always buy another drive from Team Xecuter or the like, but as Nephilim says, there is a unique key which means the new drive will only work if you hack the xbox rendering it useless for xbox live. Pete

I have had a Desire HD for a few months now and I am very happy with it. Be aware that without rooting the phone there is no system wide proxy support in Android 2.2 Froyo. If you can live with that or intend to root your phone then I highly recommend it. Battery life is poor but I like have the massive screen, locations and push services running. Pete

I am sorry, I am not sure what you mean here. The majority of models that are being imported from China are exactly the same but under a different brand, also most mechanical parts can be bought direct from Honda for these scooters as they are direct copies. Admittedly, one cannot expect the same support as you would expect from a leading brand, but that is why you are only paying a quarter of the price.

Actually Chinese motorbikes are excellent when it comes to reliability. Whilst the initial build quality is often not amazing, the reliability and longevity of the equipment is. My father has a Chinese 125 scooter and has been driving it for three or four years now and the mechanicals are a direct copy of a popular Honda model. Certainly he has had absolutely no problems with the scooter and yet it only cost him four hundred pounds imported on ebay. People are often quick to put down Chinese based items, but I have found over the years of buying RC Model electronics and Airsoft components (and even military clothing), that the products and services are excellent, particularly for the money.

Is the edugeek minecraft server working correctly? I was on last night and played for a few day/night cycles but no monsters appeared during the night. Also no CLI commands seemed to work? Has anybody else noticed this or is it just me? Pete

I owned the digger but amusingly I used to prefer the ordinary "solid" lego. I hated having "holes" in the technics stuff.

Was on the server last night. First time I have ever played survival and it was great fun. Met a few edugeeks online too. Some people have created some fantastic buildings and mines. I built what can be described as nothing but a wooden shack to keep out the monsters. Great fun!

Brilliant! I have parted with my cash and bought the game.

Think I might have to try this now. However, it would be nice to fix up the Edugeek server so I can take part in the fun?

I was shocked to find my HTC Desire HD running Android 2.2 does not support a system-wide proxy. I very nearly sent it back after upgrading from an iPhone 3G. It is such a shame as the phone is fantastic (except for battery life!). Pete

Hello everyone, It has been a while since I have posted on here but I could do with some help as I am currently bashing my head against a desk trying to sort this out. I have setup Nagios and RT on a Ubuntu 10.10 server and they are running quite nicely. However, the one (important) component I am missing is email integration so that the applications can send out e-mail alerts. This however, is totally new to me. Annoyingly, our e-mail is currently hosted by RM (Easymail) so I need to set this up to work with either GMail or Easymail as a relayhost. I have followed quite a few examples and tutorials on the web, but I have not managed to get any of them to work. Because I was unsure as to what configuration steps were failing, I have even tried using SSMTP to send a mail but even then I always get the error Cannot open smtp.gmail.com:587 Is this because I am behind the lancsngfl proxy or is the problem totally unrelated? I could do with some help really on this as it would be great to get it working. Thanks in advance, Pete

An expensive but very very good piece of software to use is Archiware's PresStore. If you can afford it go for it. We use it here at the college in conjunction with a 16 slot LTO-3 Superloader and it is truly fantastic. It has made my life so much easier! We tested Netvault but did not rate it, and used to use the really quite dreadful retrospect. Pete
