I like to resurrect dead threads!
-
bizarre! You should be able to get it working there, but I just told people it was EOL
-
Have you tried disabling offline files and then re-enabling? Don't forget to sync first
-
yep. It's a flash problem. I asked the question in this thread - http://www.edugeek.net/forums/educational-software/82013-tout-le-monde.html
-
Just let it happen
-
Can this be the official thread where you can drift wherever you like? I might be spending a lot of time on this thread. I've started a 3D print and I'm time lapsing it, but I won't be here when it finishes.... WHAT TO DO?!!?
-
This thread is highly ironic. Love it.

Found this - https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/windows/en-US/1d9fc419-5dcf-4fcb-8955-fdca33fe3cce/network-drive-cached-even-though-offline-files-disabled?forum=w7itprogeneral Something about resetting the database...

Hmmm... what does the sync centre look like on one of the affected laptops?
-
I find with this, staff member may have right clicked the network drive and chose to sync it. If you go into Sync Centre (search in start) on the offending laptop, you should be able to remove the link. I'm interested to see what others say, because I have a problem where laptops need to be rebooted to correctly connect to the network and show unsynced files online as opposed to the greyed out files with red crosses. Damn I hate offline files! Trying to convince people to use OneDrive is hard!

Bought mine from BIST - IT Supplies & Solutions | West Yorkshire | BIST Group Tony Moore sorted me out there. Expensive, but cool AF!

[ipad] Apple Configurator 2 - Some Apps install, others don't.

incredibly frustrating! -
I've not tried it, but I imagine that will be fine. It might take it a while to check through all of the files to make sure they are all the same though. Could also potentially update the cloud ones each time because of the modified date / time. ONLY ONE WAY TO FIND OUT!!
-
I have update on mine.

our laptops are subjected to an inspection. Any damage exposing innards and they are failed. They are never plugged into the machine. I agree with the comment above that mentions an invoice for damages! Talk to your SBM about it.

I use a humax freesat box. You can't (as far as I know) put kodi on it, but it has all the on demand stuff 😊
-
I've got one of these on order - Robox has become the leading 3D printer in schools | Robox® £789. Bit more than I wanted to originally spend, but it takes any filament, which is a bonus. Can't wait!!

Go to the local dealership and talk to them about it. There should be a way to sort it all out. Otherwise you should be able to get your deposit back, because they said they could deliver and now they have changed their minds. Do you have any paperwork? There will be a customer services number on there. Ring it and lodge a complaint.

When you switch the sockets that the computers are plugged into, do they do the same thing? Might need new network cards?

[ipad] Apple Configurator 2 - Some Apps install, others don't.

You don't have to add them one by one, you can hold cmd and select all the apps at problem. It's not the best solution, but worked in the end. -
Hah! Immune system of strength. My secret? BEROCCA!! Also, I shared a room with Kaz. How I didn't fall is is something short of a miracle. We could do a challenge of make Joanne ill. Don't really fancy it though to be honest!
-
I'm on Windows 10 LTSB, so updates are not often. They tend to install when laptops are shutdown. I let them be free. Don't have enough space on my server for WSUS.
-
Am I the only person who doesn't get ill from BETT?
-
No probs. Happy to help. Thanks for the rep!
