I'm not up for contract renewal just yet, but for the last 10 years or so, I have been a DIE HARD HTC fanboiii or fangurrrll.. whatevs. Anyway, I have been looking at the Google Pixel and as shiny as it is, I can't really justify the £600 price tag. I've just happened upon a company called Xiaomi which so phones that are cheap and look decent spec wise. Also been on amazon and seen the likes of Wiley Fox and Huawei (I've previously installed their networking stuff and my boss was sold on it). So yeah, all Chinese phones... but has anyone used any of these brands and did they last? I have no doubt they will be awesome out of the box, but I find that my HTC is bashed about A LOT and it is fine, keeps its speed and doesn't smash to pieces. Don't want to buy one and then have to replace it 6 months down the line... may as well have got the Pixel Opinions please!

They do my nut in when driving... always thinking there is a car coming around the corner and they dazzle me, just like the horrible new headlights in cars! I would prefer the LEDs in them to be a warmer colour, so less harsh on the old stigmatisms.

I used to have a lot of problems with it and it's not perfect, but then I couldn't use 1.7 to get the iPads how I wanted them soooo.... best of a bad bunch?

I've found AC2 to be far superior to 1.7... give it a go! (even though you don't need to now)

Yesterday I had the issue. I disabled the Realtek card, updated drivers on Intel, checked the sound with the volume bar and left. 30 minutes later, no sound. Went and looked and videos in Chrome did not have sound. Re-enabled Realtek card, then sound came through laptop. Went to sound options, set screen as default and then all was fine. How is this working? I've disabled the Realtek driver on another laptop (same model) and the sound came through just fine. WHAT IS GOING ON???

Think I've just got my 7th or 8th badge thing. Battling the geek guy in the observatory. Want to evolve my Rockruff... he's on level 30 and still not evolved. Do I need to make him happy? How annoying is that grooming / feeding / petting crap?

the only way is to just look at the difference really. You can't really give a number for how bright / dull / colouration of a device. Maybe just rate them out of 10. If you really want to show how rubbish the old ones are, play a video that is a bit dark. You won't be able to watch it on the old rubbish projector, but on the newer one you will be able to see everything. At the end of the day you need to tell them that they pay you to do this job, and in your professional opinion the old projectors are past it and on the brink of giving people eye strain.

I'd probably say that children were getting sore eyes! You could probably get some good reconditioned projectors to replace them with... if your school is skint.

I found that the pink colour was always caused from dust, especially with Sanyos. Deep cleaning helped, but check your filters, perhaps they are not filtering enough and need replacing. That's the only place dust should be able to get into really...

When I changed our admin password the photocopier stopped scanning. Also check any scheduled tasks!
