Take a deep breath and make the replaced drive online and see what happens. Then if all is well, replace the other failed drive. I had a dicey moment with a Dell where I had one completely failed and one about to fail. Luckily Dell sent me replacement drives in time!!I was bricking it that the rebuild would cause the failing one to fail, but it held out in the end!

Our school wesbite uses school Jotter so they just log in with that. I've also been working on a blog for multiple schools and I ended up going with Google Sites. Easy to use and you can just set up some generic gmail account for them to edit it with.

Maybe I should go on my own!!!

Right, I've got an Ultimaker 2 on loan for a month and I love it. However, I wouldn't buy one. I am looking at other brands and trying to come to a decision which one I would like to buy. Budget is around the £600 mark. I would like it to self calibrate the print bed (one of the down sides of the Ultimaker) and preferably have a heated bed too. I would like it to be able to use any brand of filament, although this can be overlooked for the right printer. So far I have looked at: XYZ Printing da Vinci 1.0S All In One 3D Printer with Built in 3D Scanner - Ebuyer - downside with this one is that you have to buy the XYZ filament. VELLEMAN KIT - K8400 - 3D Printer Kit | CPC UK - downside with this one is no heated bed and you have to build it yourself. (Although I would probably enjoy doing that). I've ruled out the Ultimaker because of the price and the bed setting is manual... it seems to be printing fine, but when things get to a certain height they get a bit flaky!

Hi Simon, we are a primary without an IT Suite. I never had one when I started. We have 3 banks of laptops that are used within school for ICT lessons. Basically, as long as you get SSD's in them, so they are fast to boot, you should be ok. Also make sure your WiFi infrastructure is good. We went with Ruckus, but also consider Meraki and Unify. It is possible.

I had problems with our optoma visualiser software when I upgraded to Windows 10. I use some open source software called WebcamViewer. WebcamViewer - Free download and software reviews - CNET Download.com Works a treat for just showing the visualiser image on screen.

How incredibly frustrating. I'd rather pay £10 per user perpetual. I wouldn't want to pay per year unless there were members of staff who were going to use it. Currently there are none.

I haven't fried the pi, but need to find and edit some driver files for the controller to work on the GPIO board... Urgh the hard bit!

So far... Just written the retropie image to the sd card. Now to see if my soldering has fried anything!

Oh if I were doing the SNES conteoller, I would only have SNES games on it. Could probably do a megadrive one too. Estimated cost is around £50... not including cost of any tools I may need.

So I've recently bought a pi zero and OMG I think it is the BEE'S KNEE'S! (How many apostrophes? That's definitely not right, but YOLO) I had a quick look on the old YOOTUUBEZ last night and I have decided I am going to do this to it: I need me a SNES controller first. So opinions... I can pick up a compatible one for like £3. Or get a genuine one for like... £20. Would having the nintendo logo on there make it better? Suppose I could always get it printed on there all dodgy like Anyone on here tried doing this?

I'm considering getting a new strap for mine soon, but also looking at getting another fancier smart watch. Although this does everything I need it to really. Step tracking, voice control in the car, linked to spotify so I can skip tracks whenever I like and most importantly, showing me what time it is.
