What I do is when in school, attempt to sync (make sure the limit is a big enough size (Control Panel - Offline Files) ) then when it's all synced properly, disable offline files, reboot, re-enable offline files, reboot then see if it works. If none of that works, manually backup files off laptop. Delete users local profile in C:\Users and also delete UserProfile registry key (HKLM\Software\WindowsNT\Current Version\ProfileList) then re-sync offline files, then copy over the backup.

HELP! Very odd issues in group policy management
Joanne replied to edutech4schools's topic in Windows Server 2008 R2
Check you have reverse lookup configured correctly... https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc961414.aspx eg/ if your ip range is 10.20.30.* then the reverse lookup will be 30.20.10.in.addr.arpa Check that error log out a bit more and see if there is a link to a technet article, it might shed a little more light on it. I'm not massively up on my DNS but I'm sure someone else will be along shortly to help! -
Speak to people there. They will give you missions. - - - Updated - - - Also find the FEV lab innit.

Are both servers in DNS entries? -
I've installed it on a new VM, but not looked at it yet. I hope MS got a lot of money off King.com to put candy crush on the Education version...

Same. If the servers are on the same domain then the policies should sync (I think?) across the servers. -
Microsoft is more relevant to IT Support roles. I would say Cisco is more relevant to network setups and installs. I did a Huwawei course for my old company and we did full network installs for new build schools setting up stacks and whatnot. So does depend on your main aim. I find the Microsoft stuff to be more interesting on a personal level. Switch programming bores the hell out of me, but I guess it's always useful to have!

They know that cows don't have concept of time right? LOLZ! -
Thanks guys! Love the Nacade! I want a big thing though... size DOES matter!! (although this all stemmed from watching THIS youtube video and kinda snowballed!) The only reason I didn't go for this one is that I can't for love nor money get me a hold of a pi zero!
-
So I have decided, as a treat to myself, because I've always wanted to do this... I'm going to build an arcade machine! It's going to be powered by a pi 3 and run piplay. I watched a few youtube videos last night for inspiration. I think we've decided the cabinet is going to be made out of MDF. It's going to be a table top one, but we are going to build a stand for it, so it will look floor standing. We've got some spare bit lying about like monitors and whatnot. I want a square monitor in mine for authenticity! Today I'm gonna have a go at getting piplay to run on the raspberry pi I have here at work and see what it's like. I'm well excited. I'll post any progress made here.
