I've stopped playing really. Went up to Burnley Golf Club last night to look at their new swing studio and it looks pretty mint. I took one shot and the fact I hit it was a miracle! Hahahah! I will be partaking in 'Golf Thursdays' when my friend quits work and goes self employed though

OK, so I was looking for some projects to make with children in small groups and to possibly incorporate some 3D printing... Here are some ideas: https://www.raspberrypi.org/blog/pi-zero-projects/ I particularly like the look of the word clock: https://meanderingpi.wordpress.com/tf-wordclock1/ I'd love to do a PiGrrl zero, but the parts are quite expensive... https://learn.adafruit.com/pigrrl-zero/overview I've got one of these to do in a group, but wouldn't mind some smaller projects to run alongside... [ipad] Apple Configurator 2 - Some Apps install, others don't.
Joanne replied to Joanne's topic in Mobile Devices & Tablets
If I add the apps one at a time on configurator, they apply on the device fine. Hmmm... wondering if I will have to do this instead with the full trolleys... -

My 1st profile configures WiFi settings only. 2nd profile does MDM. Settings on MDM allow install of apps.... o.O -

OK I've tried wiping an iPad and installing a problem app seperately - it was fine. Now used a blueprint and app is waiting... This is my KS2 blueprint and it's weird that an app like Morfo has installed fine on this one but not the the KS1 one.... It's almost like one of my profiles is causing an issue, but it has worked in the past. I'll double check all settings. -

OSX Sierra iOS 9.3.5 Apple Configurator 2.3 -
I'm on with testing a new image for our KS1 iPads. I have all the licenses for the apps with VPP. I am signed into AC2 with VPP account. I assign 2 profiles - 1 with general settings and the other for Lightspeed MDM. I have checked on Lightspeed and changed a setting with regards to installing apps (just in case) but this hasn't made any difference. AC2 installs my Blueprint fine. When I then switch the iPad on, half of the apps are inaccessible. The ones installed are mixed paid for and free, the ones not yet installed are also a mix of paid for and free. Why won't they install??? Tried restarting, tried signing in to the app store on the iPad with an apple ID, nothing. When you press on them they just say waiting...

Wow... major necro thread right here!

In my defense I was using publisher to alter the plans! LOLZ! (Mr Pete (not you - my husband) was using paint, so they were even worse!!!)

Right I've done a test iPad with my KS1 blueprint. It has installed 4 apps and then the others are 'greyed' out and if you press them it says "waiting..." and doesn't install it. I definitely have licenses (they are all free) tried rebooting to no avail. Used Apple Configurator 2. Any ideas?

I've got a Sony SmartWatch 3 and I love it. Works with Google Fit and I have it running with my HTC M9. I like the fact I can discreetly read messages with it.

No pasty for me... I'm gonna have to be careful what I eat going this time. My face was almost falling off by the time I got home... so much allergy!! Stupid body! Probably more like a packet of cooked chicken from an express supermarket

I use Parotec iNsync charge and sync trolleys, they are hardy and take a good bashing. Get ones with in built cables! As for cases I go Griffin Survivor. Expensive but well worth it.

Yeah I'm expecting structural engineers reports and inspections to be taken place throughout. I'll be needing all of the certification when we sell it on.
