I’d say its just typical sales. Always do your homework and check what they are proposing to supply and at what cost.

Is there something in particular you're looking for? It's a long way to come from the USA! BETT is usually a great showcase of products and a good networking opportunity but unless there's something specifically you are looking for or companies you really want to meet, I would say you would get just as much from reaching out to companies directly through their websites.
