Was reading this thread and a Bett registration email came through! Not sure how they will have have a safe and secure event when 'secure' sports events are getting cases of COVID-19

Plus mixing with students from other schools. My Explorers (18 in total) all go to different schools/colleges, I think I only have about 2-3 that go to the same school.

If the ipad wont improve results or attainment then why push for a bit of glass and metal? There are plenty of other good devices about that would suit just as well. Surely if you are implementing a 1:1 scheme you need to check the best suitability of device, not just push the device that is shiny. We are a Windows and Google school, Chrome books, android tablets or windows laptops would be best suited to use for us.

When I started working in Education IT Support over 10 years ago, the primary school had a laptop 1:1 scheme. This isn't new, Its probably the biggest ive seen. Also I think many schools in my home town do this with laptops too.

A school near us just installed Windows on their macbooks when they decided to go just Windows and not hybrid Windows/Mac. So you could repurpose the macs if you have any recent ones.

Maybe, but we dont have the money to replace with screens.

Following on from this thread about our projectors flickering and not getting any proper fix and Hitachi telling us we have done everything they would suggest. We are now looking at new projectors so can anyone recommend a decent projector that wont flicker and be suitable for students with epilepsy. Thanks all

Can confirm this, I bought a watch in black friday sales at a cheaper price. Two days later it was even cheaper and I asked Amazon for a refund of the difference. It was paid within a day or so.

Nope. Server failed, hard drives 'lost' in post, company resent and still not turned up. Other orders not arrived only 70% of summer jobs done. Now the help desk is deciding to not work for emails from outside of our Active directory.....

For the past 5 years I have worked in this school in Kent we have gone back between the 24th-28th August. This year we are back on the 2nd September, This years start date was planned a couple of years ago so just a coincidence its later with Covid around.

Im the same! If I take them on my phone and want to keep them then I download and save.

Also used to two accounts being in my personal Gmail app showing both emails....

Just realized it comes up where the accounts are, not in the inbox.... I feel silly....

How do you do it via GAM?

Did it from the mailbox to another. I tested with two gmail accounts I have. Still not working. I'll try logging out before adding and after accepting.
