  2. Directaccess if your o/s versions support the latest ver as it's awesome they are connected to the domain as if they are still internally plugged in so it's much better than a dialup vpn type connection all updates and remote access tools will work just they would for a fixed desktop. Ben

Fibre is harder to tap but in this installation saying it's more secure isn't really an argument but really it's your installation that are connecting to so if you specify that fibre connections are made using SFP convertors to fit in with the existing equipment then that's fair enough or they'll have to install and manage their own infrastructure for the CCTV?   9. With a portable unit you need to be able to vent the hot air but they are not rated for continuous operation and will likely fail very quickly if used in this way. Fixed is the only way. Ben
  10. What will you use to put the dvd in the tray when it opens a model helipcopter? For the sky box I would just add in an rf2 adapter so that the infrared receiver can be mounted on the top surface of the unit so you can change channels without the drawer being open. or one of these Infrared remote control extender: Amazon.co.uk: Electronics Ben

Oh please get real there isn't a website with everything on it so you will have to search for the information that you want and it will consist of websites, whitepapers, other documents and videos spread across youtube, vimeo etc...you will have to put the effort in yourself to locate the information you're after.   19. Hey @JAB1a didn't see your latest post. Mini H Quad – Build log 2 | Plextech UK this is where I'm up to at the moment I got back from holiday to a nice little box containing motors, esc's and props. The power dist board I had ordered at the same time was too big so now have a micro one on it's way and some different screws for mounting the motors. As soon as they arrive I should be ready to finish building. Ben

  22. I'd simply tell them if that's how they do business then not go bother sending a renewal and ask the. For the length of notice needed to terminate any existing agreement. Without knowing more about the system involved and what cameras you have we can only give a general suggestion such as factory resets. Ben
