Have you used the webcam functionality? lol Ben -
A device connected to your wireless network and allocated an ip address regardless of if they can then get out to the internet is an attack vector as it is connected to your internal network. A virus could quite easily spread this way. Ben

Providing a laptop to the clerk if that is their only role as an employee would be disproportionate to it's use so I wouldn't automatically just say oh yes they're the clerk they get a laptop. Many clerks clerk to multiple governing bodies so should they get a laptop from each school? Ben
-
So he's not actually on the governing body and is probably being paid to be the clerk as well. Ben

It's not doing electrical work though if you are demonstrating and allowing them to practice how to attach a plug, which are the correct colours and to make sure the terminals are sufficiently done up though so your second post has nothing to do with it. Ben
-
Exactly though I wouldn't expect that kind of training to be required for someone replacing a plug but for installing a new electrical circuit yes. Ben

I dunno it was this bit that makes me think they would be: "The WEEE Regulations apply to finished products. Components, sub-assemblies, consumables and spares are usually exempt. However, accessories, such as headphones, computer keyboards, antennas and connecting cables, are classed as WEEE if they do not have a function by themselves and are only used with another product." Ben
-
Power leads are probably covered under the weee regulations so I don't think you should be just throwing them out, dispose of them with your other weee waste or weigh them in, with approval of course. Ben
