Well that's one bypass you could try or if that was indeed the problem you could publish the certificate for enrolment it really would be best practice to use certificates to prove authenticity of the radius server. Ben

Thought about this in the past under the guise that there are more pupils using more of the kit than just staff so issues with certain machines hopefully would get reported sooner rather than "well such and such computer hasn't worked for weeks/months/years" etc.... Now I work in the "real world" I don't have to worry about that anymore. Ben

I work in the IT dept for a well known cleaning product manufacturer and radios are banned in the factory for obvious reasons but banned with headphones in offices so people talk to each other although I don't know what's wrong with low level background music personally. Ben

AD Server with public IP?
plexer replied to WingnutKid's topic in Internet Related/Filtering/Firewall
Ok if they must have access to an internet accessbile "ad" you need to setup a directory server in a DMZ and push user changes to that security would be configured to only allow these changes to come from the IP's of your internal AD servers and then their service can auth against this server. Activity 3 - Name that Hound - Ruckus Dog Giveaway
plexer replied to Net-Ctrl's topic in Our Advertisers
Considering there doesn't appear to be any other reference anywhere to the dog being called clay I'd hardly call that a trustworthy source, show me a video of the actual episode and I could believe it otherwise I'd go with a source such a IMDB or basically what ever list of dawgs net-ctrl has as the answers anyway. AD Server with public IP?
plexer replied to WingnutKid's topic in Internet Related/Filtering/Firewall
Ideally you should have a tool that operates like this Rackspace Directory Sync Installation and Set-Up Procedures | Knowledge Center | Rackspace Hosting user information is synced and password changes are also captured using a password change notification service. Shame that different companies produce their own rather than one tool that can support many upstream providers. Ben- 17 replies

When I set this up I had 2 security groups wireless_users and wireless_machines and as long as the user or computer was a member of those groups they could log on, those groups were linked to the policy configured in nps. Ben
