Hi. Ive enabled Volume Shadow Copy on the drive that holds the users home folders. Although its enabled on the entire drive, of which 180Gb of it is used, and only 15Gb of that is home folders, im hoping that the 50Gb limit ive set will suffice, as its generally just the home folders that change alot. Anyway. How do i access the shadow copys? I thought it was just a case of right clicking on a file/folder/drive and going to the shadow copy tab. But its not there. Also, how do i expose this functionality to the users so that they can restore the copys themselves? Thanks in advance all. .

Yes, it is the 2600n's. Ive disabled that, and we'll see how it goes, if it still happens, i'll use the above posted script to restart the spooler and quota software every lesson change over. .

I tryed that here, caused more problems than it solved tbh. I just have file restrictions on their areas, and run restrictions on their USB sticks.

Do you mean restrict what parts of MMC can be run? As that can be done in GP. .

Theres no MMC plugin for BackupExec. .

Hi. Can anyone shed any light on this problem: For one of our admin network users, when they load up a file in publisher that has multiple pages, they can only see the one page? Hi. Can anyone tell me if there is a way for me to script two services on our DC to stop/start every hour or so? We have problems with some of our printers here where someone will print, it'll error, and just hold up the queue until i restart two services. Is there a way to script this? Thanks.

Just a thought, but if you have printers allocated by room via a GPO, you wont have to bother with scripts. .
