Well I'm up to 31 now - still a way to go! A few pointers might help - here's the ones I have so far (with the names removed)

Aaagh - i'd just about forgotten how woefully inadequate I was feeling for only getting 22 and then you had to remind me! I agree some are obvious and these are the ones I've found! I don't know how convoluted the others might be... Want to trade some answers?

[ipad] iPads out of warranty free repair?
hallb15 replied to GuyJD's topic in Mobile Devices & Tablets
I'd expect zero chance of anything free from Apple. You might have more luck going through your supplier/reseller. -
Same. We call it bubble and squeak - not sure why.

Here's a festive one from my advent calendar... How does Good King Wenceslas like his pizzas? Deep pan, crisp and even.

Did you hear about the Viking, 'Rudolph the Red'? He looked outside and proclaimed it was going to rain. His wife asked "What makes you say that?" "Rudolph the Red knows rain, dear."

Ahhhg you beat me to it @mikeprice - I've got a video rendering based on the same theme!

Yes it can connect and stream from a local server - either via the built in ethernet port or wifi via USB dongle (supplied) Or you can play off a USB stick. You don't have to copy anything to the internal HDD if you don't want to. I've never tried to play an h.265 file, most 1080p videos seem to use h.264 - as h.265 files have a higher compression ratio, that would suggest they require more CPU to decompress so the rPi may struggle. I don't know but i'll try and find an h.256 file tonight and let you know how it gets on.

I'm selling my beloved Slice media player. If you don't know what the Slice is its essentially a rasp Pi B+ running Kodi with a 1TB HDD and all the bits required to make a really decent media player/streamer. You can find out more here: FiveNinjas - Making Great Stuff - Making Stuff Great And the original kickstarter campaign is here: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/fiveninjas/slice-a-media-player-and-more/description Its been amazing, still is amazing, and I'd keep it if it supported 4K. The only thing that's ever gone wrong with it is the original remote which I've replaced with a keyboard remote. It works with any XBMC remote anyway. I was toying with the idea of re-using the rasp Pi for an arcade machine but decided I don't have time for that at the moment. I'm open to reasonable offers.

Youtube Restricted Mode - Exa Networks
hallb15 replied to CyBeRkId2002's topic in Internet Related/Filtering/Firewall
We use Exa's Surfprotect Quantum and so use the same proxy setting as you. We don't use YouTube restricted mode though, we simply block youtube for all pupils and only allow it for staff. This is done based on the OU of the user. -
I always knew BETT was a waste of time!

@ICTDirect_Dave When's the draw happening?..

I can confirm, we had one which wouldn't respond to touch. SMART support said it was out of warranty, but Ross contacted them and got the 5 year warranty 'fixed' and we had the whole unit replaced about a week later. They sent two techs out to test, confirm the fault then de-install it and re-install it to the wall. I'm glad they did because those things are HEAVY! Thanks again @VeryPC_Ross for sorting the warranty issue out.

Its very quiet in here today. In order to restore some balance after my last 'effort', here is another entry for the wall...

Bit of a long shot, but does anyone have Daikin Intelligent Touch Manager heating control and know the default username and password for the built-in web server? To cut a long story short, we have one and I'm trying to get into the web interface so I can set it through a browser rather than the awful touch screen menu system. The model number is DCM601A51. I've tried the usual admin/password and also a few that I found for similar devices but I can't find credentials that work for this device.

Papercut Double charging for HTML documents
hallb15 replied to dapaulio's topic in Enterprise Software
We're using PapercutMF - just started this academic year. I just tried printing a webpage selecting 1 page and it worked properly for me and only charge me 1 page. Which version of PaperCut are you using? We're on 18.2. -
Are you trying to get me in trouble?
