All new network accounts automatically get an email account. It also gets disabled when their network account is disabled - so the only potential problem would lie with HR of admin staff not letting us know when they go.

I know someone who has bought from Monster Templates before - no problems.

It's because it's in an iframe. Linking to the PDF from the main menu instead should make it work OK.

Sirbendy: Will the proper codecs and technology be around in years to come to view your videos?

cromertech: Aye, it should

We've got an AdderView IP KVM which allows IP access over VNC, and bought ours from KVM Switch Direct about 2 years ago. The only thing to mention really is the modules you need for each server you want to connect are about £40/£45 (Cat5 <-> VGA + PS/2 or USB). A bit more costly maybe, but gives the flexibility of connecting servers that are up to 100m away and over thinner cables than traditional KVM ones.

Team Bossman/Webman/Tallan ™ would love one of those for the office. We used to have a nice piece of modern art done by one of the students on our wall, but they wanted it back when they left. Now there's just a huge void; and this would fill it nicely.

Nearly all (over 300) of our monitors are AG Neovo E-17DA models. Over time, we have identified two recurring faults with them: Monitor doesn't power up (Problem: 1 bad solder joint) Monitor displays image for half a second before disappearing (Problem: bad capacitors) Our problematic monitors were originally repaired under warranty, but now we have a large number that are no longer covered. Having nothing to lose, we set about attempting to repair these ourselves, saving us £130 per unit in the process. You can find a HOWTO guide (with photos) that I put together here: Neovo LCD repair - Bishop Barrington IT Support Hope that's useful to someone - enjoy.

Do you mean you think that the query you've constructed should return multiple rows as it is; or do you want to know how to make it return multiple rows? Either way, posting the query you have will help in responding

This could be to do with the recent move to nginx and a certain timeout value and the backend process taking slightly longer.

round2it: That sounds relatively simple. Which data were you thinking about - just toners & stock?

I went to Blockbusters the other night and asked if I could have Batman Forever on DVD. The guy said, "No, you can have it for one night like everyone else!"

Will you be wearing purple?

Hightower: Just get one of these with your username on: http://images.play.com/covers/7862367m.jpg Bossman, Tallan and I will be there on Saturday. Join us if you like and we'll take you to the EduGeek stand

Same network. Touch-screen POS terminals running XP with software to connect to the biometric system we have (IMPACT).

Thanks for clearing that up Tony

Are you saying the video should have been paused at the point it was discovered, and the teacher to then explain to the students: what happened, what is going to happen now, what was contained on the video, how the content objectifies the people involved, and why the sexualisation of young children is an issue and why young children should not be exposed to such content?

None of us can be sure exactly what level of material the children were exposed to, but she should be beaten with whatever law there is against adults showing pornography to children. Utterly reckless behaviour.
