  1. Network interface that IIS is bound to? Firewall?
  2. It looks encrypted. Without knowing certain pieces of information, I doubt you'll have much luck cracking it. But it's definitely not rot13, md5 or sha1
  3. Classroombookings Access DB (looking for replacement) Liberum (looking for a replacement) RM CC4 (Adding users, print management, software deployment, image deployment)
  4. Bee-have winding them up (I'm not a biker but quite enjoyed watching the ride)
  5. I agree - the HDR does nothing for those photos apart from spoil them.
  6. Perhaps it's the syllabus and/or exam board that needs to get a grip on modern technology rather than the head of ICT?
  7. I very much doubt that. He's crazy and the people who believe him are crazy. The Bible tells us of all these "special events" that defy common sense, physics, logic and goodness knows what else. We only have the Bible's word for that, and similar events have never occurred after its writing. Strange, that. What makes these Rapture-believers think that something of this scale is actually going to happen now? Third-time lucky, eh?
  8. I documented our setup for a similar thing a while ago, might be useful: FTP and Web server [bishop Barrington IT Wiki]
  9. And he's also only got 3 fingers on each hand. And wearing full-length dark black trousers, in the desert. Seriously?!
  10. If one looks closely enough, the very last footprint already exists before Dave's foot touches the sand, which raises an interesting point. Is Dave actually real - is he a mirage?
  11. Thanks mattx, love that sort of stuff!
  12. Yep, I think we know about it http://www.edugeek.net/forums/behind-red-door/76034-bit-mac-bashing.html
  13. HaleStorm: Sounds like a good challenge, hope you're enjoy it
  14. Ahh OK, that's good. I think it's just something different. Do you find it more difficult or easier? As a youngster I started on cornet, but got told my mouth was too big (to get the higher notes), so moved on to horn
  15. Morning I play Solo Horn in Spennymoor Town Band, and help out on 1st in the Youth section of the band (which I've been a member of for... 14 years, roughly?)
  16. stock.xchng - the leading free stock photography site or Flickr Creative Commons searches.
  17. On CC3, you should use the RM Build Manager to import drivers into the build area. Extracting the drivers from the installer varies depending on the installer itself. With some of them, you can open them as if they were a zip file with a archive utility (e.g. 7zip). Sometimes you can see the files extracted in the %temp% directory when you run the installer - run it, but don't click next - just leave the window open.
  18. Javascript PC Emulator - Technical Notes
  19. Or the Developer Tools in Chrome, refresh page, and check the requests in the Network tab. Or use Firebug in Firefox.
  20. Your mistake was going to the BBC for tech news The Register have picked it up, it seems: O2 struggles for breath in widespread outages ? The Register
  21. Find your my.ini file. I'm not sure if this is in the Windows folder or the MySQL folder. Then find lines like: #skip-innodb #skip-bdb #skip-federated Make sure they are commented out with hash symbols as shown. Then try to run mysql_upgrade - it should be in the MySQL folder.
  22. What about the contents of the mysql.err file in the MySQL data directory?
  23. Are there any entries made in the event viewer when you attempt to start it?
  24. OK. Looks like you got PHP installed and working - that's good. But now Joomla and Moodle can't connect to MySQL. Either: a) MySQL is not running or a firewall is interfering with it. b) MySQL is running, you changed the passwords for the MySQL users, but didn't update the config files for Joomla and Moodle. c) PHP hasn't got the MySQL extension enabled or installed. To check for (A) - look for the MySQL service, and search event viewer/log files for any errors relating to MySQL. For (B), just edit the config files for Joomla and Moodle, updating the password to the one that you changed it to for both applications. And ©, you need to find out if the extension is installed. To do this, create a new PHP file with the following contents and save it in the webroot somewhere, as info.php: Then browse to that file. Ctrl + F to look for 'mysql' - there should be an entry there for it, about half way down the page, with a table underneath with the version and some settings.
  25. It's currently running on Wolf CMS but I plan to use CMS Made Simple for the next version. Wolf CMS is relatively simple to edit page content text, and anything else that is done via a plugin, but other than that, you'd probably need some PHP code behind it. That's why I've decided not to use it any more CMSMS has a much better interface and a huge repository of quality plugins.
