In Camtasia Recorder, go to Tools Options Video and manually change the frame rate. I just tried it at 15fps and it seemed ok. Unfortunately, I couldn't get the sound to work and I haven't time to sort out the sound card settings at present.

I know this isn't ideal but put a video camera on a tripod getting in as close as possible. I'll try and copy it with Camtasia for you but I'm not sure how successful that will be.

The repeat of the first series of Spiral finished on Saturday. I didn't see it first time round and really hope they do a Spiral 4, it's really improving my French.

I don't think it would have altered the result but it would have had us on on the edge of our seats. Before the race, I think it was Eddie Jordan, said the DRS zone was on the wrong bend but I thought it was perfect. There were some cracking overtakes. DRS has dramatically improved F1 as a spectator sport.

If you have other similar boards, you could try changing the control board. It's behind where the serial lead goes in (On a 500 series) and is quite easy to remove. The other thing you could check is that the Smart USB/Serial drivers are correctly installed in Device Manager. Sometimes, they can revert to the generic drivers that don't work. If you delete the generic driver and then reboot, it will hopefully install the correct ones. From experience, this problem indicates a suspect usb/serial lead.

It probably doesn't help you but we now print virtually everything to our Canon photocopiers and they have 99 memory boxes that you can store to. Really useful feature. The other great thing about printing to photocopiers is the admin people look after them, so I don't have to order consumables, change the toner or fix paper jams.

I think the ERA Licence covers it. The ERA licenses educational establishments to undertake copying of off-air radio and television broadcasts for use for teaching purposes. All UK terrestrial broadcasts recorded after 1 August 1989 are covered within the licence which allows recordings to be made for teaching purposes, provided that the recording is clearly labelled with the date and title of the recording and the statement “this recording be used for educational purposes only”. In addition, the licence allows further copying of programmes recorded under the licence and allows the compilation of extracts of material for teaching purposes The copying of commercially produced, pre-recorded videos, audio tapes, CDs and DVDs or programming provided in any on demand services is not authorised by the ERA Licence
