To enable backstage to see what is going on, I fixed up a camera with composite out and used a wireless video sender to a small TV. Made cabling ok, the only problem is the kitchens are next door and if they use the microwave it interferes badly. As it's mainly used for evening stuff, it's not an issue.

It's our Annual Salt Festival today and the forecast did not look good. But it has been really warm and the rain held off. That is, it held off until I went down this afternoon and then it started to chuck it down. There was only one place to shelter; the real-ale tent! Life can be a real bitch at times We've had really heavy showers on and off all evening. Hope it's better in Chorley.

W've had this with 500 series. Device Manager shows it as a generic usb/serial converter. Deleting this driver and rebooting resets the correct smart driver.

I have quite bad arthritis in my big toes, I'm down to have them operated on but it will take me out of action for 6 weeks, so I keep putting it off. Anyway, I wear Crane trainers from Aldi. They are either grey or brown and don't look too trainerish. Nice and comfy and really hard-wearing. I think they cost around £15.

We had some money that had to be spent quicly at the end of last term, so I got some of these Easi-View Visualiser for Schools At first glance, they seem fine. The image is on a par with the much more expensive genie-vision things we have. They don't have the fancy split displays etc., but the staff don't use these anyway. If they can prevent having to run off 30 copies of everything, then they should be cost-effective.

I don't think the OP disagrees with that. The main issue is getting fair treatment. We get two freebie papers that show the court cases for that town. In one, the punishment for similar offences is consistently far greater than the other. It's not a fair system where the punishment can depend on the mood of the "Beak". So I don't see a problem with using a lawyer to help. And if a policeman sets up his stall too close to the sign because he knows he'll get a better catch and that is contrary to regulations or guidelines, then it should be addressed.

I got done the very first time I took my car out. I was a learner with a mate as the qualified driver. 45 in a 30 limit and a £5 fine and endorsement. I was in an A35 and I tried to argue that it wouldn't go that fast. MInd you, £5 was nearly a weeks wages then. Tough on her (you) but I think it will be costly. Mine at home are OK as is my watch (which shows full signal strength). I've noticed that the signal seems to turn off every few days.
