What's the legal position on this? A good number of our classrooms contain pupils with a "do not photograph" order. When we had Teachers' TV in filming a class, we had to get parental consent for every pupil. We do have CCTV but nobody is recognisable on that.

I have a friend who is a well know micro-engraver He came into school yesterday to talk to some of our "arty" kids and he was very impressed with the projected images and the visualiser. He is starting to do roadshows and would like to get a projector to go with his Macbook. I know nothing about Apple products and would like some advice on what to recommend. It will need to be at the budget end but be able to show the fine detail. He'll also have to lug it around with all of his other stuff, so portability would be good. Any advice would be appreciated.

Since they forced v5 on us I've had nothing but problems. A lot have slowly been fixed but the "Ignore Words and Phrases" still doesn't work, so we get 100s of hits on "princess" and "Whack" not to mention "bih" whatever that is. The other hate is that with V4, if there was a hit, I could look at the image capture and see the offending word. That no longer seems to happen. There is no sign of the word, so no proof. Now they want us to spend £60 to go on another course to learn about something we didn't want in the first place! Edit: I just got an email from Forensic Software to say the Ignore Words issue has been fixed. That was quick

Welcome Liam. Have you got another drive you can try and boot it from?

If you can swap the power supply, that's a good first step. The other thing you could try is to disconnect power to all of the peripherals and see if it tries to boot. If it does, then connect the boot HDD and see if it works. It could be the psu falls over when it has to big a load.
