When you consider what it has to do, the mapping algorithm is pretty clever. That said, I make a point of planning my route on a proper map and just you the satnav to guide me the last few miles. It find it most useful for getting out of a strange town. I live a mile from the M5 junction 5 but the satnav insists on me adding 10 miles to my journey by going to J6. I've found the Garmin recalculates very quickly. The one that's fixed in my wife's Nissan will go for miles telling you to u-turn. Incidentally, I just replaced my Garmin Nuvi 250 battery using a £12 Ebay kit and a youtube tutorial. Pretty quick and easy except the tool for opening the case was useless and I used a knife blade. It hasn't made it any quicker getting a satellite fix but at least I can leave it on for a few hours without the battery failing.

I know it shouldn't be treated as any sort of joke and my heart goes out to all involved but you have to admire the resilience. Apparently, a reporter asked one of the walking wounded if it was bad in there and he replied "Aye, they had to close the bar!"

There have been a couple of Samsung Galaxy phones in the office drawer for a month or so. This morning I decided to ry and reunite them with their owners. I put them on charge but they were both locked. So I removed the SD cards and mangaed to track down the owners from the photos. One was delighted to get it back, the other lad wasn't aware he'd mislaid his expensive phone!

We have just been quoted for a wireless system with prices for the IAP-105 and IAP-115. Now the only real difference I can see is the 115 might handle high density areas better. As they have quoted for 20 APs and we only have 16 classrooms, even if we reach 1:1, will we ever be high density and is it worth paying extra for the 115? Until recently, the supplier has been owned by the County but they went independent recently. Whilst I want to be loyal to them, might we be better looking at Meru?

If it's a pedestrian controlled crossing, then there is a sensible delay between the red light and the green man. If you are having regular problems with vehicles as you attempt to cross, then they are either seriously jumping red lights (which I doubt) or you are pre-empting the green man, which is just as bad.
