Presumably you have tried the brain training thing? In your case it would be NOT having any sort of nap, going to bed at the same time every day, and waking up at the same time every day - yes, even at weekends. Yes, there will be disruption to begin with, but if you really stick with it your brain will be retrained to sleep properly at night. It isnt really surprising with your present regimen that you dont go to sleep before 2.00am - you've had two naps!

mrwITch is always complaining that he cant install software - as a higher level Enterprise Software Technical Architect he often needs to look at new bits of kit. However, the reason he cant have local admin rights, is of course because in the past this privilege has been massively abused by the staff. His biggest issue though is when he submits a ticket for something he really needs, and it takes weeks for IT to respond. He understands the issues and would be happy if the response times were just a bit quicker
