It isnt the staff that are complaining - it's the HT My argument is that you surely can expect a teacher to have a device at home that can remote in to our server, making everything all safe and allowing desktops - cheaper, more robust, etc - in the classrooms. The HT maintains that some teachers do NOT have a device at home and therefore they need a laptop. Out of around 18 laptops, I can say that only 4 or 5 are taken home at night. Most of them just sit in the classroom, getting dustier by the day, with the power always plugged in so that all the batteries are borked now.

@StevieM I am so sorry. She was a gorgeous girl and yes, I would have happily taken her home. I still miss my last dog, Smudge, and the one before that, Smartie, and even Tina, the dog I was brought up with. But that is as it should be - they are a big enough part of your life that when they are gone there is a hole left behind. I'm sorry she left you in an accident and not of extreme old age - that must have been such a shock. Thinking of you xxx

Changing your lifestyle, eating a bit less, eating clean, healthy food with treats now and again, moving more - that's what will produce a sustainable weight loss and weight stability in your future Wow, I sound good dont i - and most of the time I can stick to it...but today i might have eaten a whole big bag of Minstrels.....

@ICT_GUY Sorry to hear about your woes. I know it is hard, but there are lots of people on here who will take the time to talk you through the bits on your network that dont seem to work - if you trust them, and I do, they can even remote in and really have a look and see if they can spot the issues. This is where edugeek comes into its own - I have had people take HOURS to help me when I have been struggling. Have a look through these posts and contact the people that you think can help you. It will absolutely be worth it.

I asked in Tesco why they dont provide cardboard boxes like they used to. it is a space issue for them - they dont have the room at the end of the tills to safely store the boxes and nowhere else to put them. If you find an amenable shop they will sometimes let you take a couple of flattened out boxes. TBH when you see all those metal cages swathed in plastic you wonder why we even bother to try to reduce plastic use
