  1. Re projector remotes: I have a small NEC one, a bigger NEC one and a slim grey one with no name on it!
  2. That sounds like a good idea. Maybe we should put out a call to ask if anyone else needs some small bit of kit that might be floating about another school too
  3. I'll send mine on Monday
  4. That's not a very helpful comment, is it? @pbad Do the orange ACTIVPEN3 pens work with your system? Or are they actually orange and it is just the image? If so I have 5 unused ones you can have I don't have any yellow ones - except for the very very old blue and yellow ones! I also have a black and red one too
  5. You can just run on the spot y'know
  6. Three Billboards ouside Ebbing Missouri Thought I had commented on this but cant see it. Very good. Emotional in places, funny in places - very "real"
  7. Hidden Figures Quite good but extremely historically inaccurate which really annoys me. Either people will believe it ALL or they will believe non of it and some of it WAS correct and very interesting
  8. I have been known to stride up and down the living room to get to 10K. Mr wITch sometimes sits and just waves his arm about to get to the requisite number - not really the point
  9. We will
  10. I have had a tough year. Need lots of hugs....
  11. They are pushing the reading cloud at us and we still have some problems, especially with overdue book lists. Our librarian has been on the phone to them for hours and they say things like "38 other people have the same issue as you" So?
  12. ..and I did! I have to catch a slightly later train so I wont make it to BETT until mid afternoon on Friday but I will be there - and I am staying over in Canning Town that night. Luckily I have just sold a couple of bits on ebay which will fund my trip. looking forward to it
  13. Anyone staying anywhere cheap on Friday night? I can find some places but i dont relish tramping across strange bits of London late at night in the dark on my own! It would be nice if there was someone else to walk with. I've found a couple of Airbnbs in or near Canning Town..pretty cheap so I might go with that...
  14. Poor Witch might not be able to come to BETT at all
  15. Hostiles Starts out very violent but then becomes more contemplative. Lots of meaningful glances from Christian Bale - but he was very good and the whole film is very different to your usual western
  16. Not enough info for my boss - he wants them to state that they have considered GDPR etc etc
  17. Day 4 of Fitness Blenders 5 day challenge to get me back into it...everything hurts! https://www.fitnessblender.com/articles/fitness-blenders-5-day-workout-challenge-to-burn-fat-and-build-lean-muscle-free-workout-plan-online
  18. I have been tasked with contacting all the companies we use re GDPR Props to Purple Mash who have it on their site - easily accessible and all info there. Pearson have got a good document to send out too. Others - not so much - OUP are "reviewing" the regs. Others have asked me to email but have had no responses as yet
  19. Pitch Perfect 3 A bit of a laugh with some good jokes. But not enough singing!
  20. You had snow? We never get anything - it is almost as if we are living in a different country
  21. Very wet here too - but alos very cold
  22. Jumanji I liked it - Jack Black and The Rock were very good and there was lots of humour and "jumpy" moments too
  23. I enjoyed the film but they are a bit formulaic - and goodness knows where the Rebellion will get more pilots etc...again....
  24. Just been contemplating the winter solstice. So, the sun is coming back! Great, I hate the dark
  25. Looking forward to it
