I've got some aging projectors and whiteboards, of course the aging whiteboards aren't in the same rooms as the aging projectors as that would be far too simple! Anyway, I want to look at BETT at either boards or interactive TVs. Does anyone have any recommendations as to stands I should definitely go to? I'm not after anything stupidly clever as most teachers don't use a great deal of functionality, just something which will show a good picture quality, which they can write on. We have a mix of smart, promethean and acer at the moment so I don't even nned to stick to a particular brand to keep a standard! Thank you Stuart

Hiya, Has anyone been given access to FMS to put on new orders? My finance team want to give me limited access to FMS but it seems that I can either do everything, or have just read only to my relevant bits. Has anyone got it tweaked so they can place orders and get a number, but then just need approval? Thank you Stuart

I'll give the idea of adding the Apps but not via a blue print a go, the trouble I have is that different year groups want different apps, hence the blueprints. Does anyone have any thoughts on it appearing to download all the apps every time I apply a blue print? Thank you

Morning, I'm trying to get loads of iPads set up using Apple Configurator. I've got all my Apps set up in a blueprint, but when I apply it I end up with some Apps "Waiting" on the iPad. What are they waiting for? Any ideas how I stop them waiting? Also, it appears to download every single app every time I apply a blueprint. Why? I've downloaded them all using iTunes so they should be local shouldn't they? Thanks Stuart

Got mine setup using only 1 NIC.

I've created my new domain as ad.schoolname.co.uk, so of course all my users are [email protected]. I don't like the "ad" bit in there, looks untidy. How do I get all new users to just be [email protected] so that it will sync nicely up with O365? Stuart

Hi all, So it's been pointed out that you don't need a brilliant Internet connection to be able to effectively use O365. Would some people who use it please let us know how many users you have on it, what speed your Internet connection is, and whether it works well? Plus any other useful information? Thank you Stuart

I didn't get to setup my new domain over the summer holidays which I was hoping to due to a lot of things outside my control, so I'm going for next summer now. What do I call my new domain though? Our OWA web address is mail.school.suffolk.sch.uk and have a certificate for this, but that is about the only place we use that FQDN. All of our email addresses, and our website are school.co.uk. We don't use O365 yet as our internet connection isn't brilliant, but it's all set up with the school.co.uk addresses as the usernames. So presumably I go for ad.school.co.uk rather than ad.school.suffolk.sch.uk? Thank you Stuart

I worked in Woolworths whilst at college 20 years ago and we got one of these in every Christmas. We never sold it though as every year someone would open it because they didn't believe it was a real one. They used to also do 1.5kg Chocolate Oranges. It was slightly smaller than a football, but the segments on that were hollow.
