Can anyone send an email to [email protected] please? I've tried and am just getting bounces ("Other mail system problem 552-'#5.3.4 message header size exceeds limit"). That was my conclusion too, so £60 later I've replaced the battery and it still says it. I assumed I'd Googled incorrectly which is why I posted on here. Unless there is something I'm supposed to do once I've replaced the battery?

I have this showing on my iLO; Does it mean the controller has failed, or that a cache module has failed which is replaceable on it's own? Thank you Stuart

1. We just use it to log everyone's printing and then bill that department later. 2. We give each person their own PIN, put them in appropriate groups, then limit their printing to those groups by removing the ability to print from their own account. Stuart

My Dad got one addressed to him last year. He had died several months earlier and wasn't on the electoral roll anymore. My Mum was rather upset, wrote to the MP in question about it and got no response at all. He hasn't received anything this time round though, I'm tempted to say "yet".

Does anyone know what the most recent version of Sketchup was where you don't have to go through a registration process to use it? I've gone on the Sketchup site and it takes you to elmtec.co.uk for education enquiries, but their website is down. Or does anyone have a helpful way of getting a version working please? Quick question; I want to prevent just one member of staff, and all the pupils, from sending to the "All Staff" group. If I specify "Accept messages from", and then "Only senders in the following list" and specify "All staff" this will mean only staff can send to the list and kids can't. If I then do a "Reject messages from", "Senders in the following list" and specify the teacher in question, will this overrule the fact they are already in the "only senders in the following list" and reject, or does the "Accept messages from" take precedence? On the flip side of this; LTSC. Hands down. We're rolling it out, it does everything we want and isn't full of junk. Microsoft say "The Long-Term Servicing Channel (LTSC) is designed for Windows 10 devices and use cases where the key requirement is that functionality and features don’t change over time". For us, our classrooms don't change so why not use it? Stuart

We've recently got Netflix and my son has started watching Spongebob Squarepants on it. It was on when I was in the room the other day. Spongebob walked on to the stage and started reading a limerick, then said "Oops, sorry. Wrong one.". My boy looked at me funny when I laughed quite loudly. He didn't have a clue what I had found so funny.

I asked our DT technician to make a key fob for a laptop trolley. He cut out a piece of plastic and then engraved "Trolly 1" on it. The slight irony was that trolley 1 is in the English block.

I've installed RSAT on my W10 1809 laptop and blocked Edge via AppLocker on Group Policy. Logging in to another machine I can still open Edge. I've run a GP Results Wizard and it says the setting is being applied. Is it because the target machine is running 1709? If so, what do I do about that then? Install RSAT on the 1709 machine and do another AppLocker GP? Stuart

A thought has just occurred though; If it is simply there to receive a message and announce it, you can turn the mic off. I still wouldn't rely on it though, plus you probably wouldn't hear it in a particularly noisy class.

You would have to advise parents that you would be putting these in classrooms as there will be those that will object to "one of those permanently recording my child". I am aware how these things work so I am not suggesting it is, but that is what you will get. I also wouldn't rely on them anyway. They are clever pieces of kit, but they do have glitches and I cannot say I would depend on one for such a critical purpose.

Is this still a thing? Does it require the school to already have an annual agreement? Or does having an agreement effectively give you this pricing already?

Worth running diskpart and doing a "clean" command on it, but if that fails then I'd bin it. I'm not saying that diskpart is the final word in disk utilities at all, but if you have to try harder than that, it's not worth risking data on the drive, particularly exam data.

Hi all, We have Genee touchscreen TVs and of course pens are "being stolen" (the teachers here don't lose things ) and I need replacements. Do people replace their TV pens with the official ones, or has someone found a cheap effective alternative? Thank you Stuart
