I have a Co-operative bank card which isn't contactless, but have set it up on my phone, which obviously is. I don't carry my wallet with me usually, now I'm going to have to again. I can now lose my wallet/have it stolen again therefore making it less secure. I see this as a backward step.

I use Salto and my server is a virtualised 2012 R2 box. I'm not sure I understand your question though. We have mostly standalone door handles, about a dozen which connect to the network via Salto's access points, and 3 which are connected to the network. I connect the PPD and the badge programmer to my laptop via USB. Does that help?

If you chose to move your support away from a team which have the knowledge required but you don't like the politics behind it, that's up to you of course. It was an absurd situation. Back to the OP and the topic, I suspect something is going to have to give somewhere and you'll need a SOLUS 3 server. Whilst it will be a headache to get going, it will save a lot of time in the future. The SIMS team should be able to do all the configuring of the server for you and then any future updates themselves.

@localzuk - I used to work for a SIMS team at an LA and we couldn't install SIMS on our own computers because we were all in a big office with loads of other people who worked for the LA, and as such *all* computers were tied down with GPOs, we didn't have admin rights because we were just other employees. The LA also didn't want to set us up a server with SQL on it etc for SOLUS. When there was a SIMS upgrade, the LAs IT team would do it per machine for us. It did not stop us supporting the schools who phoned us, or stop us going in to schools to set up SOLUS for them as we had all the knowledge, just not the rights on our own machines. All is not always as it seems, we certainly were a "SIMS team". And yes, I am well aware that was a stupid setup and we fought them all the way and eventually got local admin rights, but that is the way it worked and could be the same as this situation.

I finally had some time this morning to give this a go. Within an hour of starting (including installing Server 2019) I had a working HAP server. Excellent work, thank you so much.

I've tweaked so many things to try and get various bits to work, I've lost track now. I think I'll blitz it again and install 10.5, I didn't know about the 10.6 bug, but now you've pointed it out I've checked and I'm suffering with that too!

OK, I'm still moving on. It now presents with a logon page, but gives an Internal Server Error 500 when entering a valid username and password. If I enter invalid credentials it tells me they are wrong. I've been through the setup.aspx.

Adding her to all the groups is the only way I could think of, but you'd have thought if you can do it on the popup this would do it on the copier too, or at least give the option!

I've set our reprographics lady to "Show the manager mode popup" so that she can print to any group. Does anyone know how I can make the same happen on the papercut interface on the printer please? It only ever offers here the groups she is a member of. Thank you Stuart
