I've just added the file as above to the allow list for our user group using the file hash. Everything started working. Thanks again SpaceInvader83, i didn't think of looking at applocker, i thought i was a webfilterig issue. Cheers
-
yep got 100s of hits for all 4 of our sage users on "CefSharp.BrowserSubprocess.exe" Have you added you're applocker rule yet? has it worked? fancy sharing?

Adobe Premier Pro Hangs on "Loading ExporterQuicktimeHost.prm"
Jaan replied to Jaan's topic in Enterprise Software
After testing this, it seems to be related to folder redirection. If i disable folder redirection on a standard user account it loads fine. As soon as the users documents are redirected it fails. APP data isn't redirected. Anybody else had this issue? -
Plumber Drilled Through Our Virgin Media Fibre Cable

Where are you based? -
Yeah i've checked all of this which is why i'm confused...... i think its because its a "Live" video. Are you able to see the video on a staff based account or do you get a block page? Reason i ask, the video is also displayed as watable here also (if viewed on my admin account). I guess the issues lays with that its a "live" video..... and i think that is strictly filtered. Thanks for the response.

We have moderate youtube restrictions for staff members here and no access for students. As IT admins we have unrestricted access...... We can you this video but staff can't....... Its a "live" Video for 2nd March. IT admins can get to the set reminder page, staff get a block page. Are Live videos blocked on youtubes "Moderate" filtering mode? Can't seem to find anything that's documented....... Both the channel and video are "Viewable"

If a number of your customers aren't able to access a system (we'll use SSO in the case) because an authentication mechanism that's failed, and it isn't working as it is intended.....thats degraded performance. It doesn't matter if "Bromcom still works"..... I can't log into Bromcom , its not working....... I shouldn't have to reconfigure our login methods to get our staff up and running again as a temporary solution. Its degraded performance and has an impact on the running of the school day. Your response is the equivalent of saying "Well, its working here....." That doesn't help. You need to take into consideration that your customers have different setup and requirement needs. If there's a issue affecting 10% of your customer base, surely it's just common courtesy to say "We got issue X that affecting a small %age of our users" and change the status page to "Degraded for users using X" I'm curious, what number is 10% of your customer base? Are you able to provide what percentage of your customers use SSO as their login method? it's the norm this day and age?

I had my team checking we hadn't nuked the Google accounts (a sync was done late yesterday), Checking Google Services Status pages, Our Admin panel API security Settings as well as checking directly within Bromcom. Apparently Bromcom's Service status page needs to be Manually updated. I once asked support when we had a previous issue and the response was "I'll get the team to update the page" However, I would like to clarify........ I wouldn't go back to SIMs!
-
It's absolutely pointless having this page if it doesn't reflect current service status. Just remove it...... Those using SSO to sign into Bromcom this morning might have noticed that you couldn't log in. Not sure what the issue was, i assume it was something to do with the update that links SSO accounts to bromcom accounts or the maintenance they have scheduled. So far we've had 3 instances where we have been unable to access our Bromcom instance since we went live in SEPT. But at least the service status pages says it's been 100%............. Rant over

yes i have have you applied this from a computer or user based gpo?

Giving this ago today, i can't seem to get it working. The file is being copied to the right location. But the cloud app isn't reflecting the changes. I can still see and install apps and updates. Any ideas? here's the contents of the .xml file; AppsPanel false FilesPanel false MarketPanel false SelfServeInstalls true BrowserBasedAuthentication true SelfServePluginsInstall false AppsAutoUpdate true AdobeFallbackForAUSST false AppsCategories false beta-apps

New Servers (hooray) Hyper-V Configuration
Jaan replied to Warwick_Tech's topic in Windows Server 2019
I rdp into my nodes servers the same way i do anything else. This is done via the "management" nic interface. The nodes behave as if they are two separate machines. Its the S2D that does the magic. You normally manage Virtual machines (on non s2d) server via the hyper-v manager. On a s2d cluster, you can create a vm via hyper-v manager as you would normally....... but if you want to add it to the cluster (s2d), you "add" a role via the "failover cluster manager" service running on the clusters. The role detects the vm running on the server as "standalone" (in hyper-v). Once you've added the vm as a role, it is added to the s2d cluster. From that point, you can manage the vm from the "failover cluster manager" as it is part of the cluster. TL:DR You can run a vm in hyper-v as standalone on any given physical node server. Once you add that vm as a role, its clustered and part of s2d. edit: think i kinda repeated myself above..... my nodes have two seperate IPs used for management tasks. -

Hi all, i'm really new to the whole Adobe CC deployment game. We're up and running, but i wanted to manipulate the Adobe CC desktop app settings on behalf of the end user. I can't find any GPOs for the CC suite, so just wanted to ask if anybody is aware of any reg settings i can change via GPO? Namly disable start with login and disable non admins from installing updates/apps..... i'm aware i can do this via the create package section in adobe control panel, BEFORE i deploy....... but it's already out there. Surly i don't have to redeploy to define these settings i now want to change. Thanks all

Anybody applied this yet? After having a look online, i can't find any issues (yet). Maybe we need a sticky section for these monthly updates or maybe a dedicated section

What method did you use to add the user attribute to the Google admin panel. We'd like to use the sync tool.
-
Also long as the PC is on the domain though, you can sign in with Google still, assuming the domain details have been added to Admin panel via the custom attribute.
-
Thanks for this. I need to add the custom attribute to The Google admin panel. I wanted to use the Google sync tool to do this as i already use it. On your blog you reference this; You can auto populate this field using GADS (Google Apps Directory Sync) if you use this to auto provision your accounts in Google from AD. Alternatively, you can populate them in bulk with a Google Sheets script or manually add them. The link that's referenced to Google support doesn't really go into how to do this and Not found much on a Google search. Any ideas on how to do this? Just having a read through your blog now Thanks
