  1. Finally the FIA have come to their senses and allowing unrestricted team radio after the formation lap as of this race in Germany! Maybe we will get better radio messages than just Seb swearing all the time
  2. Do you only buy Office licences as and when you need them and pay for Office 365, or do you have a OVS-EES agreement that covers your OS/Office requirements. If you have EES, then you should not have a limit on the number of stations you can install on per say. You get a soft limit for the number of MAK codes you used, but you can ask for more to be added to your account as they are one time use.
  3. Like @pete a quick 5 minute phone call and the keys are there. The MS rep I spoke to ensured I refreshed the page to ensure they appeared before finishing the phone call.
  4. Yes but @Joanne is in Scotland this week so a tad hard to confirm location when a few hundred miles away
  5. My Pug 308 (current model) will flash up on the dash if the filter is starting to be blocked, and the solution is just a blast along the nearest dual carriageway or motorway (or any A road that lets you get above 40mph) and after a couple of minutes the alert will go away and it's happy for another 1000 miles or so. It also seems to have less regen cycles than the old model which is nice.
  6. Annoyingly I tried using an existing upgraded Win 7 key on my 2nd PC, but as I had already upgraded and activated my first PC it said the key was invalid, so I had to start from scratch with my fresh windows 7 version. Everything I've read online says to treat the upgrade licence in the same manner as a OEM licence as it's non transferable. Obviously if you have a hardware failure and replace the component like for like MS will reactivate. I now have a headache as we've got the fire alarms being tested.
  7. Well other information is once you upgrade and it activates, it takes a fingerprint of the hardware for it's record, which is why when you do a fresh install from the upgrade at a later point you don't get prompted for a key (done fresh installs on both of my home PC's) One of my US mates found out the hard way that replacing his Mobo due to a RMA required a call to MS to reactive as the fingerprint was different. The upgrade licence gets ties to the Mobo the same as a OEM licence.
  8. Bit pointless as then the hardware fingerprint is for that station
  9. You can put the users into any folder structure you wish within reason. For Students, the RM systems normally want them to be created within the \Establishments\XXX\Students OU If you wanted to create a folder/OU within it called Students 21 then you can
  10. Windows open as far as it can really go (3 inches) and still toasty, but we have got 4 PC's, 4 switches, routers, 10 media converters and a UPS in here with me all on so it's to be expected. Oh for A/C
  11. Correct Steve Any device without Impero running would not be logged, but it does record any site regardless if your using it for filtering (as long as you have the IE BHO and the Chrome extension enabled that is) It does not get round the monitoring/logging of sites on BYoD devices though =(
  12. Also the RM User Based Filtering requires you to set a proxy address, so if you are using BYoD and using transparent proxy the likelihood of having user access recorded is low compared to other filtering solutions that have a logon page regardless if your using transparent or not. I've not spoken to anyone using it yet, and I don't really want to have to reset everyone's passwords just so the RM tool can re-salt the password to their system
  13. Yea yea, your leaving me to deal with the contractors and what not on my own for the day. Try not to loose him up there @Joanne I would like my minion back for the rest of the holiday
  14. Our Site Manager has a windows phone provided by school... it never moves from it's power lead in the office, so there is still 3 Windows phone users out there (sorta)

    Pokémon: GO

it appears (from looking over a students shoulder) that we have a yellow pokemon at the bottom of our stair well..
  16. At least the owner can now change it from public to private now, I've previously had to delete and recreate groups that staff had setup as public by accident (and not noticed for several weeks)
  17. @kennysarmy I schedule our SIMS/FMS updates via Solus normally for 6am in the morning so that it is updated ready for staff when they come in (since Solus will wake stations up if they have WOL enabled)
  18. Microsoft have already provided the solution to this update, we have to update our GPO delegation permission to either include read for Domain Computers or authorised users (does not affect the filtering security groups) as all GPO's are now read by the computer account and not the user account.
  19. Red Bull also have said that they will review their race situation to see if they could overcome a time penalty if it advantages their drivers in the race, so I have a feeling that Charlie's "Technical Directive" which is not actually a regulation in itself, will be getting adjusted for 2017
  20. Mercedes drops plan to appeal Nico Rosberg's British GP penalty
  21. Users are free to use any font this wish, regardless how much we would like them to use more "professional" styles. If everything was printed/displayed in Arial or Times New Roman it would be very dull.
  22. Another GP, and another trip to the head masters office for Bottleburg and a few days before the final race classification is out as it's already changed once today.
