The original post said 1 physical DC and 1 Host with 2 VM's The Standard licence only covers 2 VM's on a physical unit (in addition to the Hyper-V if no other roles are installed), so for both boxes there should be 2 licences. It is possible that the DC server came preinstalled with Windows, or the licence is under a different agreement.

Well at a glance I'd say you had an OVS-EES licence with a FTE of 67 which covers you for upgrading your OS to Windows 10 (as long as it had a valid OS installed already) and running Office 2016 and the basic CALS for connecting to the server. You have 1 Windows Server licence which covers your physical DC (or the 2 VM's but not both)

RDP licences are slightly different from CAL's Client Access Licence are for accessing the normal functions of a Windows Server (File & Print etc), but Remote Desktop requires the correct RDP Licence. Yes you can get them via OVS-EES but they are an additional cost. We used to allow up to 100 staff to connect to our RDP servers, but once we migrated to 2008 we had to lower it down to 70 as the other 30 licences were for 2003 only (we bought them on the Select scheme years ago)

It was nice to see an actual fight for the win this week, but was a shame that both the Mercs crashed out (Certainly just a racing incident as LH could have taken his foot off the gas when the door started to close, but once on the grass he was a passenger into RH's car) It was nice that Red Bull got a win this season, so at least there is hope for more race challenges going forward for the rest of the year if Merc slip up.

You might be cutting it a bit fine with that guess

.. but it's worth it just for the background material to Hot Shots

Or waiting for me to leave the office before posting another pun to prevent being hit by a flying beanbag. I just can't help myself.

It's good to see you all having a whale of a time.

Do you really want a B5 conversion... you'd never know when the Shadows or their minions might pop back up after you thought you'd run them off.

Quick jobs are great when starting out as you can bring in some cash without worrying about resting, refuelling or paying tolls as the employer covers them all (and you get to unlock towns ready for when you become a OO)

Times like that you want to be able to get out of the cab and walk down to the offending AI driver....

Number pad 4 will make you look left, 6 will look right and 5 will centre the view. There is an option to turn on camera turn in association to the way you turn the wheel but that just better for cornering not checking that it's safe to pull out in the first place!

At junctions is it always a case of look several times just as in real life (where as farm sim it's just cut the corner and sod the traffic... especially if I'm hauling 3 trailers full of grain behind me tractor oooarrr) I have been tempted with getting a TrackIR so that when I move my head it moves the in game camera as well so it's much more natural but that might depend on how the new DLC goes.

I want to pimp out my W900 in ATS but they are limited without going down the mod routes ;p linky

If you put at least a point into Fragile & High Value it opens up extra jobs in the market, and they increase the XP and ££ you make from the job compared to normal ones. Ignore economy driving until you have maxed out points in most of the other options. As I normally pick a 6 axle chassis for stability, I get a fuel tank that is only 800l and even that gets me through a 2000k trip without too much hassle. Also Long distance means you get to increase your job delivery range by 250 miles etc so you get more ££ for the job compared to pottering around the local area, and different areas have better job markets. Plus you have to visit towns to open up some jobs too/from them.

Can't say I like the Renault either, but my fleet is made up of at least 3 trucks from each manufacturer (but I prefer my Merc New Actros) Here is a link to a SS I took last night for some of my top drivers Linky

Well you can watch the VOD from previous weeks on the site, but yesterday it took a while to sort out Promods and some of the trailer mods he was running so it was a bit delayed, and the week before contained an hour of photos and videos of a day trip to Geneva and Truckfest chat But yes it is quite additive (just like Farm Sim.. can't believe I've logged over 46 hours in a week!!)
