I think lack of money is what is involved

Spent most the the past few weekends playing F1 2016 on the PC again and bumped up the AI difficultly. Then for a laugh popped onto the F1 2015 I still had installed, as it was as if the Force Feedback was disabled as they had improved it so much between the 2 versions. Roll on F1 2017 later in the year as the FFB gets yet another improvement.

We found a local company that would terminate our for us, we we just bought a few hundred meters on a drum and installed it around site then arranged for them to come in and splice on the 24 pigtails. Worked out much cheaper than getting the whole job contracted out, and easier to drill a 12mm hole compared to a 35mm hole in multiple external walls.

*gasp* you spotted my side line Na I'd read it there earlier over lunch hence the same phrase

Well he's out of contract at the end of the year and said he wants to race next year so "big teams come and get me"

Yep saw that on Saturday when Crofty "reported" it from sources in the paddock. If Honda don't get it sorted soon, I can't imagine they will want to stay for much longer as they are taking a hammering.

We have some HIKVision domes and they do the job perfectly for low cost, and they work nicely with GeniusVision software for recording them
-
Also for us, all our exams laptops are very old and not on a domain, so that rules out having them on the domain and using GPO's to lock down Office and there is less temptation for users to hit lots of different buttons. The only time we use Word for exams is for the students who are allowed the SPAG assistance.

It's not to as high a standard as Alex Gillions one for Maldonardo though but then 2 crashes in 2 days is a good starting record, and means Massa can have the morning off while they try and build a 2nd tub for this afternoon (or go straight down the pub)

Merc are doing mileage runs during this first test, setup/speed is planned for the second test. Although I did like Lewis' humour last night when the wet weather running today came up. "I might have to fake a muscle strain so BOT can go out instead" So far they have stayed in the garage instead of driving on the tanker soaked track
-
Yep they are over 50 now even if Alonso can't take turn 3 with much speed
-
Not sure Williams is having the best couple of days testing. Stroll is racking up a large repair bill so far
-
I use a bright orange B&Q toolbox to transport our 15 iPads around site. It's waterproof and easy enough carry and was only £12. Once we have it back we put the tablets back into the Lapcabby to charge over night

Just for info, WD bought SanDisk, so most of the SSD's are rebadged and with updated firmware based on research I was doing over the weekend.
-
How onimous is it that with 2 hours left in the first day of testing, Merc has done over 100 laps already... and McLaren has done 2!
-
Some of the shark fins and T wings have been a bit wobblie this morning while out on track, so they might get tweaked and beefed up a little bit. Shame TR did not go for the Sugar Free Red Bull colours
-
Day 1 of testing, and not even 45 mins in the Honda has an oil leak. At least it was the Red Bull that caused the first Red Flag of the session
-
Happy Birthday @DJ-1701, please remind me why I let you have the week off
-
It has been compared to the Marussia Manor paint scheme as well.

Merc are testing the fin and the T wing this next week. Will be interesting to see how the new Power units compare as they have all made changes since last year (apart from Sauber which has the 2016 Spec Ferarri motor still)
