The Fins will be a major thing this year to help keep the dirty air above the rear wing

ooo nice new colours on the McLaren, Orangey/Red and black

When we had the high winds back in the late 80's they added loads of metal into our gym roof to keep it from being blown away... shame as it would have meant a new sports hall instead of having to wait another 30 years. So far our total damage on site has been a couple of door hinges.
-
Well it seems that the small bit of wind we have here... has managed to damage the door into our sports hall so it can not close properly now. Oops

As a F1 YouTuber twetted yesterday, when codemasters release the F1 2017 game and you try and use the "look behind" view all your gonna see on that Force India is the shark wing. I know why they are using it again (to get clean air for the rear wing and the dirty air to break high enough above it) but they are not the nicest of things to look at. Also someone has already taken the front nose of that car and added some eyes so it looks like something with their arms up!

I dangled a Jelly Baby in front of him. But no real competition as we both know I'm faster at typing Might not make much sense though.

Nope I've put a nice salve on for now.

2nd attempt I must admit but

The PVID limits the port to only that traffic. Depending on the model of the switch, it's the only way to remove vLan 1 from that port, but it's not always required
-
For simplicity, taking the LAG out of it for now. Connecting between the 2 switches so vLANS 10 & 20 can both send traffic over the connecting cable Switch 1, Port 1 has vLan 10 & 20 Tagged Switch 2, Port 1 has vLan 10 & 20 Tagged Now on Switch 2, there is a end device that is on vLan 10 and another that is on vLan 20 Switch 2, Port 2 has vLan 10 Untagged and PVID of 10 Switch 2, Port 3 has vLan 20 Untagged and PVID of 20

With the gimball lock, maybe a controller for a gyroscopic mount of some description?
-
Why have you got LAG1 on switch 2 going to 2 seperate locations? LAG1 between Switch 1 and Switch 2 is correct. But if you want multiple ports to link to an end device, you need to use LAG2 on Switch 2 and set the vLAN for that, as LAG1 is being used to talk to Switch 1
-
In your original post you said it was between 2 netgear switches. In which case both ends need to be set as Tagged so that all packages have the vLan wrapper added (especially if you have more than 1 vLan going over it) Switch 1 (LAG 1) -> Switch 2 (LAG 1) T at both ends
-
If you have multiple vLANS going over the LAG, it should be Tagged at both ends so what to do with the packets. If the LAG it just between switches, then Tag at both ends and it should be fine. We have around 3 vLANs on average configured on our Switch to Switch ports and all of them are Tagged with the pVID set to our default vLan.
-
Have you set the vLAN for the LAG to be T (Tagged) for your additional vLan id's and not U.

Oh it's not a Compaq is it.

Happy 14th of February! (Valentine's/Friend/Birthday)
Boredguy replied to DJ-1701's topic in General Chat
Happy Birthday (even though this is not the Birthday Thread) and your lucky he didn't post extracts from his 2nd diary that he's left here at work this week. -
Make the most of Lucifer when it restarts in May, they might not have a 3rd season

Your realling Driving your point there @DaveP

Shame this one is 525Gb for £127 on Amazon but is that within his price range?
-
What your going to be replacing DJ with a PSU, I'd call that a fair swap.
-
Is it a replacement powersupply for a Dell @ICTDirect_Dave ?

Seemed like a good idea at the time? If it's any consolation, some of our students found out the hard way that they can't use their Kindles on our WiFi/internet as well.

Are you already using Office 365 for e-mail? If so, students/staff who have the proplus licence assigned can just download it from within the same website. When office is installed it will ask for your e-mail address and password. Users just pick that it was a work account and not personal one and it verifies their credentials against the ones held by Office 365 for your site. Once you remove their licence, the office program will stop working after so many days and they will either enter their new school details, or can purchase a licence directly from MS. So far we have around half the students that have taken up our free Office offer since Microsoft brought it out and other than the odd reminder to parents on how they can redownload it we have had no issues.

Looks like a dot matrix printer in a sound proof case. (Oh and when are you switching to your iceblock avatar @mikeprice?)
