  1. same horror here ! AAaaargh ! Forgot to add I am using Firefox as a browser, don't know if thats possibly an issue, but it might help solve it perhaps.
  2. I would like to suggest that it might be worth looking at this feature and seeing if it can link more recent posts I think, I get the feeling its why some very old threads get Necroed, often when you post, you can see this just under the reply button linking posts going back to 2009 and before and its clear people don't read the dates of the threads. and yes I know necroing threads is a bit of a bugbear of mine !
  3. We did a proper number on Australia I felt Saturday, outgunned them and outmuscled them bigtime, did not expect us to put 40 points on them in all honesty, was very nervous watching the match throughout until the last 20 minutes when we properly pulled ahead.
  4. was 32 degrees at my parents house yesterday lunchtime, lovely weather, but sweltering, good though for making the boy extra sleepy it seems
  5. Thanks for that Awesome wasnt going to pay for infinity blade 2
  6. All around brilliant weekend for uk sport I thought, considering the lions won in awesome style yesterday morning too.
  7. Sounds like decent service, I just wish that glasses manufacturers would cater for people like me with a "Wide Head" especially as I want a pair of the Rimless ones, I wanted a decent pair recently and struggled in a local specsavers to find four pairs to choose from
  8. Avoid anything with a standing charge is what we looked to do here, such a ripoff for nothing, think we are on Swalec for both here
  9. sounds like you have a gasket on the way out with that amount of water being lost if you cant see the water leaking from underneath, glow plugs are a relatively cheap thing to try and change though and what you describe sounds like that they may be on their way out also. I would say radweld first off for the water leak if you dont think its a major leak, but be prepared for worse there, if your losing water and its not visibly leaking its usually only something very bad like a gasket on its way out. glow plugs for zafira dti | Vauxhall Owners Network Forum & Club - | Vectra | Astra | Corsa | Zafira | Meriva | - that person seems to have a similar issue with the smoke and glow plugs
  10. that's a shame, this was one of the more decent parts of the MS website and the support was generally always quite excellent there I felt, better than half the stuff that you get now on there.
  11. Acorn Electron for me if you want to know what started it, probably best piece of technology and most useful I use is the screwdriver other than that if you have to pick electronic I would struggle I think, probably my kindle, though the iPad is creeping in there now
  12. non-existant ! no way ! Limited Edition ! yes way ! ThinkGeek :: Limited Edition Portal Gun Replica
  13. aye, lovely devices, but probably gonna spend more time charging than using looking at them - Dyson DC34 Animal Handheld Vacuum with Longer Run Time for Pet Owners: Amazon.co.uk: Kitchen & Home 6 mins on MAX power ! lol
  14. I had to use CNTLM to get through our NTLM based proxy with our LEA on a linux box before, sometimes PAC files and the addnig of that line to the various config files just wont work. Google CNTLM and it will set you on that path easy enough if you have problems with the Acquire path, though it does depend on how you connect to the web with your proxy/LEA.
  15. im a tech, but I can grow a decent length beard in a week if I dont shave, having to shave daily here to keep it manageable, when it gets longs its horrendous shaving it
  16. thought the dyson had about a 15 minute battery when charged ?
  17. good luck my wife was induced after going two weeks over the due date here, was a nerve racking 28 hours until the little man was here then.
  18. SoR doesnt look bad with rewards now, like the look of straight to 80 levelling, misses out a whack of the old content there
  19. Reroll a Dwarf Priest tempting, though its been ages since I entertained the idea of being an alliance dog !
  20. I know, its a massive installation nowadays, compared to the initial three CDs I had to install the game. I miss the game myself strangely enough, I even toyed with a free 7 days that I seem to have in my account on there, but I know that my Mrs would go postal, I quit before the birth of my son around Christmas, what helped me quit was that my one RL friend who was playing the game had stopped and the guild I was in had died. I found myself logging on and running 60 content to be able to transmog my characters to the better looking gear (there hasnt been much to make a character look good in game since TBC imo), but I had not been anything near hardcore for about a year prior to quitting. I didn't like the way that pretty much every major patch was having you relearn to play your character and your main could suddenly be "g*mped" by a patch added on top that Pandaria just seemed far too childish an expansion for me with the whole "Kung Fu" panda thing about it.
  21. although your agreement may be different to an EES one, which you would probably be better off rolling over to eventually if your still under contract - Microsoft School Enrollment: Academic discounts for education institutions
  22. if your on an MS EES licence, it usually covers you for all the latest products (both server and workstation platforms), our EES here has all versions available from XP to 8 Enterprise and all versions of server and office.
  23. Its worth logging here that its on its way to working now for us, although pensively at the moment, we have had to reimage both machines here, have both machines currently using the HP smart update manager to the same standards and also discovered an issue where MPIO was causing us to have BAD POOL HEADER boot loops on the devices. Fun and games, but I must say that I am thoroughly enjoying the configuration of a SAN and iSCSI, its just a shame that a fair few of the Server 2012 books are out of date and refer back to things which only existed in beta, so much time has been wasted looking at old stuff by me in trying to do this, but it is the most exciting thing I have done in IT in the last few years.
  24. I dont think we do need drivers after looking at it yesterday into the night, I have got the SAN itself configured now (its a nice piece of kit), its just seemingly a bit fiddly getting the SAN to see the cluster we have now, more to do with how 2012 wants the cluster to be setup I think. The thing I am finding confusing, is that we are obviously setting our SAN to raid, now on top of that windows seems to want to "software raid" the disks in the pool ?
  25. to give a bit more information now that I have had a chance to look at the logs, now the VMs are back up and working (nothing like exams server going funny the day before an exam) it appears to us that the 2nd HyperV host (Hyperv2) has had all its networking information seemingly go blank on rebooting it, as Gareth said, it then looks like it put the cards to DHCP and did not actually get any dhcp addresses from the network, it then gave the three NICs in operation on the machine automatic 169.254.x.x IP addresses, what it points to in the event viewer is lots of DNS and connectivity related issues. Was the critical error in event logs, but that seems to be after the IPs have been wiped then. Restoring the IPs to their previous configuration seems to have remedied the issue for now and I have revalidated the cluster as of last night to check it and get all that working again and it seems to be fine, were just puzzled how a simple reboot has managed to take out the server over all.
