I have just configure OSDcould! I have managed to make a USB that will download Windows 11, install it, download the Dell drivers and install those, reboot into autopilot without a single touch. (Expect having to boot into the USB). I am looking at how we can install Windows Update during the OOBE. I think I have some methods, I haven’t tried any. I was wondering if anyone else had achieved this please?

In addition to the above, I would also question why the staff member isn’t using the approved process. By doing something different, individuals are opening themselves up to problems.

Maybe you should include indicate this applies to the UK in the title. I have had an Australian digital driving license for at least 6 years. It’s the norm here and I never seen anyone with issuers using it. That combined with Apple Pay means I never rarely carry my wallet.

I don’t want be “that guy” but this position not paid enough. It’s not much above the minimum wage. Look at it in comparison to other recent roles in the region. The pay scale is aligned to a standard technician not a senior. I was an entry technician, in a school located close to this school and paid similar to this advertised role. This was back in 2009. Is the installation that OSD cloud downloads fully patched please?

Smoothwall content modification could do this 6 years ago. We locked it down so they can only use our office 365 / gsuite accounts.

I come across this after posting here. One of my objectives is to automate the Windows updates so it enters service fully patched. This should do that.

Having a general guest login is a problem that should be addressed.

It’s not a yearly rebuild but for the above reasons.

Thanks. I am not too worried about randomising. We have quite a small footprint - maybe 10 users. Adobe Acrobat DC & Reader is patches automatically with Patch My PC. Works great. I don't use RUM as this method will mean it always installs the latest versions. For the legacy Windows 10 stuff (nearly gone!) I wish RUM would do Adobe Reader - Shame really!
