Depends which sort of license you buy Core based SQL you pay to cover all cores of the VM but don’t need to license users Or the normal style server license + cals so you license all sims users (normally just FTE) What’s your current SQL licensed though as if it’s based on your OVS etc you’d get free upgrades under it Steve

We don’t use the wizz one but the normal Casio calculator sim and it runs as a service that needs configuring once via GUI, but then runs under a different service without interaction called sentinel rms license manager This runs on our app server rather than a pc though Steve

Unless they’ve changed it, it’s just stupid wording. “Switch workload” seems to mean “share” Company portal when enabled (rather than software center) shows both SCCM and intune apps, but obviously will only deploy if they have connection back to the SCCM server (for SCCM items) At least that was the case last time I looked at Comanagement Steve

Honestly I think once it’s configured how you need it works well Would even just be nice to have like a built in - here’s 2/3 different configs to test button, rather than being forced to do settings (like a forced input, no input/pre setup, options etc) As if you just run it you do get stuck in that loop until filling it all in Which I did first play as being lazy before reading manual (I know I know ) Or even just an exit/back button to leave the test screen if you don’t want to fill it in Steve

I'm in an odd position to answer that one as my own place has been empty the last few months for work to be done, so apart from low heating and a few things like TV/router on standby and fridge/freezer nothing would be on, and it's averaging about 50kWh~ a month (48.9, 48.3, 53.5 over the last 3), so about 1/4 of yours. So guessing you'd have a lot more stuff turned on standby etc if there's another 150~ a month being used, or something is draining a lot! But I'm guessing that depends how many things you have on standby etc overnight (like your fishes etc), and that's all fairly new equipment in terms of fridge/boiler etc regarding energy usage. Is it definitely the print to pdf they were after? Isn’t it called save to pdf under the new Mac OS (small button at bottom of the print screen from my memory) Just wondering if you had an old seperate print to pdf option installed before from another program Or was that button what you meant? They’ll only show as required if it’s actually scanned against the deployment though So just because it shows 0 it may mean that 1 is required but the client hasn’t reported it back yet to update the server etc, if for example they’re still scanning against windows update or wsus because your settings are off it wouldn’t show under that So you can’t really base it on that figure until you know they are reporting back properly

Could be a number of things. But generally two first things I'd check: First thing would be check monitoring for that deployment, as it'll report if it's not started/error/in progress etc. It could also just be that you only have it set to scan on a slow schedule and it's not checked in yet Second would be check your client settings are set to manage updates, and you don't have things like old WSUS GPOs still applying, as they'll override SCCM client and still try to use them Steve

Isn’t the OU licensing the Google OU not AD OU? You could turn it on in Google admin to auto license OUs or exclude some etc under Billing Subscriptions I don’t think it meant LDAP style OUs unless I’ve missed that Steve

Just going on my past experience with it But it’s normally the fact that May-June is after a lot of students have left (11s/exams etc) and lots like to get the boost in money for a few weeks “extra” work in their “spare” time It’s always been limited to teachers who can apply to do it, but it’s never been an official school thing at least that I’ve seen, as they have to apply to capita and do training/demo marking with those companies before they’re accepted, and once accepted generally they always get re-invited Steve

I may be missing the obvious here, but why is it an issue? (In terms of you/IT) SATs marking is private work for Capita, not school related, so it should be their own devices normally anyway. Unless it’s changed recently anyway, but it’s not your requirements to provide anything unless you’re feeling nice (considering using school devices for personal reasons is normally directly against policies too) Steve

I mean normally the users download the software from the portals, I’m guessing that’s more just a “your hardware must be able to run it” kind of email Things like MarkManager logins are emailed directly to those staff doing it The PAG is a government portal for schools to assign/get exam data, so your exam team should have access to it, as there’s only limited logins for it normally Steve

That error is more about how Chrome/Edge process it, as it’s got no SAN applied to the Cert it says, even though it’s a valid Cert it’ll still complain. I’m guessing your Cert was created before Google made those changes previously You could regenerate the Cert to add a SAN on, alternatively if it’s just for you techies you could disable the check in Chrome etc but obviously be nicer to fix it fully Steve
