Aye that's an idea - I do wonder if you could do a similar principle with just adding extra VLANs to the current core to replicate that principle. Yep definitely want to nuke it all, but you know there will always be that one hidden device that a specific outdated system is built on-top of that will break everything if it's not routing, so hoping to have a fallback option at least till they all get rebuilt Steve

Good Evening All, We've found that one schools have a VLAN with 2 different IP ranges being used on it. Obviously only one of these is effectively getting to the gateway to get off the VLAN. Is there any way to specify separate gateways on a single vlan ID for the two ranges? As a quick example 10.0.1.X range 10.1.X.X range Both on ID1 with the Gateway on the core going to 10.0.1.254 meaning the 10.1.x.x range isn't getting anywhere. Looking to nuke the whole setup shortly so happy with any short-term fixes, but just wondering if there's a way to get the two to talk temporarily without changing all the devices settings manually? Did consider seeing what would happen if we just massively increase the Gateways subnet on the core to cover both ranges, but this would also go over multiple other VLANs too so isn't ideal Many thanks, Steve

Edu is the higher version of it (Equivalent to Ent) so doesn't really lose anything compared to Pro, but has the advantages of all the Ent items too No real reason to use Pro if you have Ent/Edu licensing Steve

Depending how you set it up, if it's missing files it's most likely you deployed it once, then added the files after and haven't run the "Update Content" option yet. If not the live folder won't have the additional files. Were they added in after it was already made the package/application etc? Steve

It's "right" that it takes a while as it's designed for businesses with 1:1 devices that will wait for things to apply It's "wrong" in terms of it being useful for schools/where you have lots of minions trying to break things! You mentioned both GPO and InTune, first thing would be to narrow down which is causing it. If you disable the whole GPO applying to a single test student account does it still occur? At least that would rule out which way to investigate more as if it's still doing it it can't be that GPO either. Also would suggest things like disabling Veyon temporarily while testing as if it's something stupid like a student who got access to it would help narrow that one out too If there's nothing sensitive in it could you update a HTML export of the GPO? Might be easier to have a flick through it and see if there's anything that springs to mind as that's so wide open in regards to what could affect it. Steve

If it's been said it's a logged fact that's it be said (unless you've specifically worded it that the student "did" such things etc) e.g. "StudentA reported StudentB as saying XYZ" is a correct report in it's log it's been reported. Not that it's a fact that StudentB said such item. As others said obviously it's above IT management on that one, but unless it's been written badly in the way it's been input I can't see how you'd need to remove any of it (There's also then the flip side question as to how can you prove that it's inaccurate as well?) Its a bit hard to picture what you're doing here as the terminology is either a bit off in terms of the job types you're using, or it's an odd way you're doing this in Veeam logic. Do you mean Copy Job as in an individual File Copy? Or a BackUp Copy Job that copies a local backup to the cloud? If you're just after a file-level restorable copy in the cloud, you can just do a normal server backup + backup copy job and it'll copy it to the cloud from which you can pull individual files/folders as well as the whole VM (File Copy BackUp etc is only really used for specific cases and is used differently in the restore/backup jobs compared to a normal backup) If you're actually using the File Share level option when you load the backups it'll only show the latest version, but if you then open the restore wizard it'll show an option inside it to pick a select restore point off the list If you're using it via the Agent you'd need to do the restore via the Agent route and then Guest restore and then pick select/source etc Steve
