Could anyone who is deploying libre office during osd share how they install it ? The old version we deployed last year is fine, but this yeah with the latest version it seems like it's triggering its own reboot which then breaks out of the task sequence and ends I'm in windows prematurely. I've tried the rebootyesno=no option and also reboot=reallysupress

did you ever get a solution to this ? I'm currently looking at the same issue in my proof of concept for OneDrive / SharePoint migration

I want to get feedback from other schools who have gone fully SharePoint for file storage we are considering the switch over the summer (either sticking with on prem AD or going full Intune) , however we do have slight reservations about disk storage, we still have some PC's with 120gb drives and quite a few 256gb drives around what has everyone found to be the "minimum" for both single user devices and shared devices, with storage cleanup settings enabled , but not causing a painful experience for users? we have probably around 2-3TB of shared drive data, but i suspect a lot of this is old and rarely accessed so would just remain cloud only

I have just tried that (i even tried some of the options under "postscript Options") All options i seem to try in here still result in an error when printing (this was on a Cannon which was my first one to try) I am yet to try on our other brand printers

can anyone shed any light as to how we get fonts added to the Papercut Global postscript driver. we are using a mixed fleet of printers (cannon, Kyocera and Xerox), so need to use the papercut global driver rather than the vendor specific driver. generally all works well, but recently we have had a couple of instances of fonts which our school uses not print well. the fonts in question are "sassoon primary font" and the Open Dyslexic font. initially with the Kyocera printers we thought we solved this on the Sassoon font as we got the printer updated and suddenly the issue went away, but now that issue is back and a different font is causing issues on a the xerox printer. printing to a named printer (not using follow me printing and therefore using the device specific driver) works fine. how do we get these fonts added in ?

firstly, i do apologies if this has been asked before. I'm looking at setting up Intune for our school from scratch. I want to avoid just converting all of our GPO's as felt like a fresh start would be best. but I don't know where to start with this, I've made some basic config settings such as i managed to change the timezone, but with there being so many settings and only ever taken on existing AD GPO setups, i don't know exactly what's required to get the usual school settings where students are very restricted down and then staff are still restricted but less so. I'm not expecting to be told everything i need to set as all environments are different, but some pointers as to what settings you typically set would be good.

just to update this thread for anyone that finds it, the issue was resolved after I re-added the deployment type, not sure why redistribute content (or even remove and they distribute) didn't have the same affect

I dont remember that, I did try redistribute earlier but didn't make a difference. However I have removed and re-added the deployment type but ran out of time to test before leaving today, I just wanted to check that my method lined up with how others are doing it

I'm sure there is a very simple way to do this . But I have been trying to deploy netsupport DNA client through sccm. I have the MSI, the .ini file and the license file all in the folder which is the content location in sccm. Deployment command is msiexec /I <DNA client.msi> /qn /verysilent (think that's right,I'm not on py pc currently) It installs ,but has not got the server address ,and also is hidden from add remove programs , we can fix the server as advised from Paul B at netsupport to set this via gpo ,so that's not an issue, but it seems like the .ini is not being used. I have looked in ccmcache on the client and it's only the .MSI in the folder, is there anything I need to do to tell it to download everything in the content location? Or should I be putting it in a package ? What is everyone else doing for this, I'm sure I've done it before at a previous school without issues.

Okay think that settles it,not worth the faff, just in the unlikely chance someone else comes across this post , I heard back from their support who confirmed silent install is not possible anymore , they apparently will look to add it in the future

I'm trying to set up OS Deployment using vanilla w11 Wim rather than the "capture and deploy" method. has anyone had any luck silently deploying Divx via sccm, online suggests there should be a silent switch, but I cant get it to be silent, I have tried to package into msix, but it seems to be missing a file when launching.

Hi, we have a predicament with our mailing lists, we have a staff@schooldomain mailing list which is now wanted to just contain school employees ( not trust staff or third party's who work on site) however there is a need for a mailing list to represent everyone who works at that physical location ( which would include those who were excluded from the above group) I'm a bit stumped by this to make it both clear but also not overly complex also, originally thought something like site@schooldomain but that would conflict with the site/facilities team how have you done it if your in a trust situation ?
